EvilFuture
Everybody be sure to step outside tonight at moonrise to see the Perigee moon. It's the closest to the earth that it's been since the 90's. I'm on vacation right now, so this is the perfect time for me to see it! Check it out! My aunt seen it the last time it happened. She said it was a little scary, she though it was the end of the world! I can't wait... Don't miss it you guys!

GunWrath
I feel you on that one.. I normally never miss such an occasion, I'm fascinated by sh*t like that and now I can't even see the god damned thing. I'm watching some live viewing of it but it's just some dude rambling on about some sh*t. SHOW THE MOON! http://www.wired.com/wiredscience/2013/06/...live-supermoon/ Although it's only around 12% bigger.. still looks monster compared to regular view. Wolf of Badenoch
I missed this due to cloud cover last night. Have to wait until August 2014 for the next one.
EvilFuture
sh*t man, I just got back. It looks like I'm on the same bandwagon as all of you. I couldn't see the damn thing. It has been sunny and hot as hell here until today. A little earlier, we had a mini storm and it got all cloudy. We went down to the beach and waited forever and never seen it, and on the way back we could see it barely through the clouds. I'm pissed
DarrinPA
If you shoot it with a sniper rifle it will change sizes... But seriously I remember seeing it once in the 1990's and remembering it being large. "It's the closest to the earth that it's been since the 90's." I can't seem to look this supermoon since it's June 24 here already in our country. I missed it.

na89340qv0n34b09q340
I saw it driving home last night. It was big enough that I noticed it without knowing that there was a celestial event going on. The next one is in August 2014, that's not too far off. @gtafreak10 It must have looked fantastic over a pasture. I'm jealous.
Shyabang Shyabang
It was cloudy here. I try not to miss these celestial events. I watched the meteor shower several years ago.

I didn't get to see it man, that was just a picture I found on Google. I'm in FL right now for vacation, so I could have got to see it on the beach if it wasn't cloudy

Chris Fromage
I would love to watch, but it's too cloudy... Forget the moon, it has been like a week that I have seen the sun...
bluetops
I have seen it before, yes it was actually creepy. I thought it was Mars or some other planet(I was a kid back then with a great imagination). So I went to sleep thinking if it is the moon or Mars. Then I saw this perigee stuff, I was finally enlightened! But I've missed it today
Otter
As a longstanding fan of the moon, I'd love to point out that it's not like, boom, it just lept closer to us for a day and it'll be a million miles farther away tomorrow. We've had a month of "supermoon" already. Take a look tonight if you've got clear skies; she'll be up there. But because of the "moon illusion," the moon will actually look the best, for those of us in North America, this autumn. This year's Harvest Moon is gonna be a real treat. I<3GTAV
I was camping last night, so I would have seen it, BUT I FELL ASLEEP AT EIGHT
Crokey
Perigee Moon?... Peri-gree Moon?... Moon?... Perigree?... Here in Scotland we're lucky if we see the Sun let alone the Moon. Although I've no idea what this Sun thing looks like, someone mentioned it was circle of heat and light that lives in the land of the cloud people, but I'm still none the wiser.
