As the question states, do you guys thing V's website will be fun like III/Vice City/etc's websites, or will it be dull and uninteractive like the Max Payne 3, Chinatown Wars website, etc. with nothing more than basic information and your dose of screenshots? As much as I enjoyed III's and VC's websites, I fear that with the way Rockstar is making the websites for their recent games, that it'll end up being dull and unimaginative.

 

Don't believe me? Compare how fun Vice City's website was to Chinatown Wars' one.

Don't understand why everyone's bitching about the website. They already have a website with all the information. I don't know about you, but I prefer this 'cut to the chase' type information. Plain and simple.

If I know Rockstar correctly, we can expect a lot of hype surrounding the website.

 

All they need to do is include some controversial points, features and write-ups and it will get the community started, rife with theories and such.

 

Expect it to cause hype, I think it will be very interactive. Max Payne 3 and Chinatown Wars... they never expected to sell much and they didn't, so not blowing money on the websites paid off.

 

I hope they drop flash and take advantage of HTML5 or jQuery technologies though, flash is slow and is aging

What kind of program did the IV website use? I hope the final V website is as interactive as IV's website, if not more, like VC's

I don't know, it's getting late if an interactive site should be worth the effort. All I know is that the current website is too simple for such a complex game. Regardless, I think social media is making fluffy websites less important but I'd hate it to be true.

Who says there is going to be a website at all? I think if there was going to be a website worth visiting, we'd have one by now. I don't see the point of coming out with one now.

we probably wont get a kick ass interactive site till release as i suspect it would include stuff that would give away things if released now.
