Police MP

Unlike GTA IV's Cops N Robbers, I would like more of a "FREE RUN" cop mode. Do any of you agree?

 

EDIT: Something like LCPDFR for example, but perhaps players can also be the bad guys.

Maybe there can be banks to rob and other things to do which will mark the player and cop players can pursue. who ever wins gets rewarded.

At that point any dead players respawn and the game continues.

 

 

A console Mode of LSPDFR on mp?

 

But it is like free roam( its own mode) with uniform choice of cars, respond to call outs etc.

 

In Free-roam players should be able to choose what they want to be. Robbers, police, firemen, ambulance guys etc..

 

Imagine robbing a bank with your friends and then the cops show up but those are players too. And it's not a mission or gametype. Just free-roam.

Nah, something like APB. You spawn in a police station, you head underground and get your own patrol car, head out and take down criminals. Hopefully GTA Online is similar to APB. Without the Free to Play and microtransactions, of course.

I'd be happy with just more clothing choice online, such as police uniforms, or some suits etc. Anything extra would be a bonus.

A cop free mode sort of game does sound cool though.

Not sure I like the idea of having to pay to play. At all. But free roaming with other people is what would make it fun. You're Rp'ing as a cop and some other people in free roam just committed a crime, you go chase them etc.

Ya got it. and when joining game, the player can simply chooses cop or civilian. civilians can rob stores for say... $24 and need to run from every stinkin cop player in the game to keep it. "cop npc toggle ON/OFF?" just a thought. Cop players can get the reward money for the kill, double for live capture?

 

Police Players have limited immunity, AKA can hit a cop car and get by killing a couple civilians in a short period of time.

Constant assault on civilians will result in rogue officer. "MARKED"

Oh god, no. APB is BORING as hell. It gets repetitive quick. I hope they add some other stuff if they do add this mode.

It would be cool to have a move that let's you arrest other players in MP.

If they tried to break free and run like you could in GTA IV, it could go into a slo mo for two seconds so you could shoot or KO the player resisting arrest.

From what I understand about GTA Online is it will sort of be a bit of an RPG. Lets hope you can legitimately go cop.
