In Michael's trailer at 25 seconds into the video we see the big wheel is actually in motion. I have tried google searching about the funfair but all I keep getting are results for the fairground in GTAIV....which was always closed in that game. This picture is of the in game version of the amusement park on Santa Monica pier, its open year round and Im sure it will be open in the game as it would be awkward for it not to be working. Hopefully there are more eating stalls instead of just one hot dog vendor. Which made me think there has been no real discussion about the funfair in GTAV. But seeing that the big wheel is clearly in motion and moving, unlike the one in GTAIV. It is actually an amusement park and Im sure it has a different name in game than in real life.
