How would you feel about a skateboarding minigame, like exclusive to Franklin or something. If not a mini game, then at least a ride able skateboard.

I do not see this as realistic for this GTA. I think bikes will be able to ride in the skateparks.

Yeah, they could use the mechanics they used in bully and keep it simple. I think it would be cool and I don't really see why anyone would be opposed to it.

 

EDIT: realistic? Are you really gonna throw that "bullsh*t" at me? Com'on now.

Skating on this physics engine would be fun as long as it's done right. Maybe the skateboard will be more than just a HUD icon hidden away in the game files this time.

I just thought it would me a cool little trinket they could put in there. Plus the euphoria physics would make for some cool and funny stunts and crashes.

Yeah good if it's there. Maybe we'll have skateboarding tournaments in the skate park as side-missions. Insane stunts could be possible too.

It'd be nice if it could also double as a weapon.

We saw in the trailer Michael using a food tray as a weapon, and the shape is pretty similar.

I know it was a cut scene most likely, but still..

I was thinking, when Franklin first picks up the skateboard, he could be like "I havent rode one of these in (X amount) of years! Kinda like a bully reference. Fill in the Xwith however many years its been since R* made bully.

I believe GTA V will have more activities than any other Rockstar games including the GTA series.

 

Therefore, It's likely that we might see a few other activities like Skateboarding maybe even baseball as there was a baseball field in SA.

 

I hope Skateboard is in, it'll be interestibg and way better than yoga.

Skateboarding would be fun! And SURFING!!!!!!!!! I would freakin luv surfing! There's a skate park, there's a surf shop...... Fingers crossed biggrin.gif

 

If they don't add skateboarding, at least let the peds do it. (But if the peds do it, then there are skateboards. And if there are skateboards, I want to use them confused.gif Man I hope the skate park won't be like the theme park in IV: useless. Or will the skatepark be used for bicycle stunts?)

 

Edit: I just realized surfing will probably not be happening. I think realistic wave physics is kinda hard with today's tech. BUT..... They can add a surfing simulator!! That's possible! And it would be FUN! Plus, it would be cool to be able to design your own surfboard....

If they put yoga and tennis in it I am sure they would implement Skateboarding especially cause it is Southern California and its one of the biggest things out there. We may even see snowboarding and skiing if they have snow capped mountains and ski resorts.

i saw a skatepark but no npc on a skateboard. Keep in mind gta 4 had one but there was no skateboard

I really can't see it being something we do ourselves. We'll probably see peds using them like the rollerskaters in VC.

BECAUSE ---> Think about the possibilities with a skateboard. all the stunts u can do with ur environmenT! It adds so much gameplay/fun to the game

 

riding from the highest mountians!

 

 

it would also be cool if u could hang behind cars!
