Shoot at you if you pull out a gun and aim it like always. Dogs at 3 stars. P.O.T. Maneuver while in chasing you in a car pursuit. Surround your home at 4 stars with a bunch of cop cars, and trucks at the scene of your home,before you even get there,adn when you show up they use a Megaphone to talk to you, to get out and give up. You expose yourself for a tenth of a second and they blow your head off, with one perfectly aimed shot, every time. No thank you. @people mentioning "P.O.T." maneuver: I'm assuming you mean PIT (Pursuit Intervention Technique, and many other variations; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PIT_maneuver )? Unless POT is something else (Europe?) but Google is not showing anything (besides Flowerpot technique). I felt like the cops in IV did this, but it was just sloppy, and it just looked like a bunch of chimpanzees swarming a banana. I'm certain I've seen it in other games (just maybe not GTA). That's gonna be a f*cking buzzkill - they'll tear your car to shreds and have it flaming up and you won't be able to do much about it. As important as it is to make our rampage more challenging as we get to the highest wanted level, I'd rather them expand more on the elements leading up to the first two stars. In GTA IV there were no nightsticks, so as soon as you resisted arrest they'd start shooting. They need to bring the nightsticks back, as well as stun guns. I miss being able to fight off a few cops hand-to-hand and get away with two stars or less - that was completely missing in GTA IV. I'd also like to see cops having the ability to pull us over (hear me out first). There's no acknowledgement of traffic violations like busting red lights, or going 90 mph in a suburb. If we do something crazy on the road, we should be at risk of attracting a traffic cop on our tail. The best way to explore this would simply be hidden speed traps, like in real life, where a cop is tucked away from view so he can catch you speeding red-handed. He'll throw on his sirens and tail us, giving us the option to pull over to the shoulder of the road. If we choose to do this, he'll get out and walk up to our drivers side to issue a fine - pay the fine and you are free to go. Of course, you could wait til he's halfway to your car and then speed off, giving you the advantage to shake him off but at the same time securing a 1-star wanted level. POT is the GTA version, cause the police ai seems to be high... I'd love to see tear gas grenades and shields used by swat. In addition they could use alternative ways to reach player's possition; let's say he's covered in a building, shooting through the windows. The SWAT officers would enter by the back or the roof of the building. This would make the shootouts more difficult and intense. By other hand, in would be actually badass to see the SWAT teams being deployed in helicopters, rappelling (didn't have this SA, at least in some missions?). P.ower O.ver T.echnique - Ram the suspects vehicle over and over until their (or your) vehicle is immobilized. Shoot First Ask Questions Never - Pretty self explanatory. I love this. In Mafia 2, if you went past the speed limit, the police would pull you over and fine you. Tasers is also quite cool like how the police in Saints Row 2 use them. I would also like to see a police officer walking the street with a german shepard, would be a really cool feature, maybe a bit annoying when the dog is chasing you but it would be something different.
