I imagine it will feel like the hang glider in Far Cry 3...soaring across the map and giving a glorious perspective of the landscape, quite relaxing....just hope you can snipe from it. It's actually a pretty big deal. Like the others have said too, it may function as a mobile safehouse, which would be awesome. Just imagine a luxery blimp that had a save point, a TV and an armory. This. I want to be able to fly an aircraft (any aircraft) and press Triangle to disengage from the pilot seat (without jumping out) and be able to shoot any weapon. Plus in FarCry 3 I mostly used the hang glider for getting around faster since I didn't want to use fast travel. In GTAV there will be jets so the blimp will be a leisurely way to roam the city from above. It's funny how all of a sudden people aren't happy about being able to pilot the blimp (all it takes is a pre-order, no SE or CE) but when we all saw the first trailer, we all wanted to know whether or not the blimp would be fly able. Fly it one or two times and it will get bored because there's nothing special on it and it's damn slow, so it doesn't make sence, I'd say there is something more on that blimp than just flyable. Gtfo. That aside, it's a blimp. They can get you very high into the air and perfect to sail across a city or countryside just enjoying your view. Inside of a blimp could be a number of things. There could be a bunch of seats, or there could be a partying area. And having it as a save spot would be epic. A f*cking safehouse in the sky! Only because when we all saw the first trailer everyone was wondering "what is the deal with the blimp?", and most people thought it was just there for decoration. LotusRIP Posted July 4, 2013 Share Posted July 4, 2013 I wonder if you can put the Blimp on some sort of auto-pilot mode, so if it doubles as a safehouse, every time you load the game up you're hovering over a different place on the map! Could make things interesting just to jump out and see where you land, and to just stand at a viewing platform somewhere and watch the beautiful world go by. But also, would be great to let it sit still if you want a designated safehouse sitting there in a specific permanent location.
