Yeah, 32 inches are big enough for me(it's in my room),but I'm worried is the game gonna look vibrant and nice on this tv because it's not 1080p,it's 1360*768-720p....

All my previous games and games I play right now look good(xbox 360)....

I would really love to have 1080p tv,but I don't a lot of money now...

I'm still in high school, and my mom is single parent...

WILL IT LOOK GOOD for the best game in the universe?? smile.gif

Answered your own question fella.

I have a 26" 1080p TV for my bedroom and that's enough for me. I find games such as The Last of Us and Red Dead Redemption to look stunning. I've never had any issue with any game I own and won't with GTA V. You shouldn't either.

Any TV that has 720p should be good enough. Next gen you'll need 1080p. Edited by redx165

I have a 24 inch 720p tv and its all i need. I know some people might consider that small but its more than big enough for my gaming needs. GTA IV, Red Dead, and LA Noire all look incredible on it so I have no worries about GTA V. Plus yours is even bigger than mine so your all good to go man.

why want a 1080p tv for it?

it won't even play at 1080p

720p

a 1080p tv is practically useless for gta v

crt tvs are still best for both gaming and picture quality try to find a nice sony trinitron tv and then experience the game as it was supposed to be experience they even beat the most expensive flat screens you can find

you can probably find one for fairly cheap aswell

Your old consoles won't go up to 1080p. Any old thing is fine for them. A 1080p screen nowadays only costs a few hundred (even less probably), you're better off getting from a wholesaler, that's where you get good monitors at cheap prices. If you're only playing games, why get a TV? A simple monitor would be more efficient.

I wouldn't say you "need" 1080p for next gen at all. The games will however go up to that sure. Hell when I first got a PS3 at launch I was gaming on a SD TV. It didn't effect me at all. The only reason I got a HD TV further down the line was because my SD TV kicked the bucket and I saw the right TV for me in a sale. All that matters is you're happy with what you have.

Are you f*cking kidding me? As zzcool said, 1080p screens are completely obsolete for GTA V.

tnx guys for answers!!

and @Cheeseface wtf man, what's wrong with you?????

I also have 23" Full HD monitor(for my PC) but there are a lot of jaggies noticable when trying to play x360 with HDMI cable....so I guess my 32" 720p TV will be good enough for GTA 5!!

Sure you don't need 1080p tv at all for next gen. But you'll be missing out in a whole better experience. It's hard for me to go back to SD at times. I mean I got a 42 inch Sony for about less than $600. TV's are cheap now.

Yes, I'm with a 32" and 1080p here, but yours is good at 720p already.

I agree they are cheap now. I also agree once you've experienced better it's hard to go back. Still the phrase "out of sight out of mind" fits here. You can't miss something you've never had so you won't know or care what you're missing out on if you've never had it. tounge.gif

I have a 42" plasma and a 36" crt hd flatscreen (heavy 250lbs!) the bigger the better but if you sit close enough...matters little. I think there IS a conspiracy in gaming to make the text so small we have to invest in 69" TV's to even read it!

The 720p is alright fella, you're set. icon14.gif Current gen games don't even need more than that, as the 6xx - 720p is the native for them! Have fun gaming.

Does your TV have at least a quad core CPU, and a GTX 460/HD5770? The game may lag a bit if you fall under those specs. biggrin.gif

dear rockstar, either take all these kids out slowed down bullet style or leak some fake gameplay to speculate over until september. ppl are now questioning their tvs. LOL. that is sad & way funny. its all your fault. sincerely seVensantos

Ah but the question is - LED better or LCD?

Does it make much of a difference to use the HDMI cable or the AV cables?

believe it or not they are still superior capable of over 200 hz

perfect black levels accurate colors NONE of the problems an led suffers

only reason you go for a flatscreen is the fact that it's flat and consumes less power theres no other reason
