T.P.E Posted June 21, 2013 Share Posted June 21, 2013 CO-OP for the main game. Like if im playing as Trevor and my mate wants to he can drop in and take control of any of the other 2 protags. I know Rockstar said its not gonna be co-op but I also know they lie sometimes (well not really lie, just change thier minds), and maybe thats what caused the delay cos lets be honest, how good would it be if I was right? The pedestrians alone have to be able to respond to cheers, taunts, and respond to burning debris. But they still pulled it off. Herp derp, he assumed the OP meant local split-screen co-op where all the processes are performed on the console. Online co-op for two players isn't such a big deal as two consoles will be loading the city, objects, peds etc while the server relays messages between each host detailing what the other user is doing, this can then be replicated on the local console.
