Turning Off The Dynamic Music

I know you can essentially turn it off in LA Noire. Having trouble recalling if it's an option in Red Dead.

Not to sound like a total luddite, but I've enjoyed solely the city ambiance. I felt it got incredibly better in IV with the added layers like music from other people's cars.

Also, it gives the missions a little bit more credence.

Thoughts?

yeah I loved listening to the natural sound of liberty city, I hope you can turn off the dynamic score in v,

rdr music was great though, imo

I figure that two options for music will be available; one for ambient/dynamic music volume, and the other for radio music volume.

Of course there will be sliders for audio and certainly dynamic music too. So you just turn it down and that's it.

Pretty sure there will be all the options for sound and music.

I'm definatly going to give it a chance.

The city ambience will still be there, I think this dynamic music only kicks n in missions and gets stronger as tension builds.

Unrelated, I loved RDR when first riding to Mexico, that song. Plus the second one, I forget when that happens though.

I think it will be similar to IV like how you can turn SFX and radio up and down, or all the way off.

ChocoFrosty

It was optional in RDR (you could turn the music all the way down).

This could be a problem in V if they don't give 2 options; one for ambient music and one for radio music.

I would hope so. It is the thing that keeps me from playing my Halo 4, I can't turn the music off. I want the focus from time to time. In some games it is done right, builds and at the end of the event, quits. Such as Dead Space. In Halo 4 it just keeps up to the point of being annoying as freaking hell.

RDR in regards to music was perfection, I could play that either way and still enjoy it. But in most games I have the music volume is the first thing to go. Depends on my mood too.

But to not have that option? Can't handle it.

Honest Bill

I'm almost certain they will have the option to turn it down which will be independent from the radio music slider.

I would hope so.

Dynamic music can be affective, but I'd prefer to listen to the ambient sounds. Makes it feel bit more like real life.

Why are people so worried about the ambient music? It won't be over powering the game, or distract from anything. If you played RDR then you would know how much the music adds to the game. To each their own though.

Because it gets annoying when you just want to free roam. Hopefully it is only for missions or have an option to turn it off.
