I don't understand why people even do that, anyway. Another thing that I'm sure will be in, but I don't want, is the modern day music. Like Justin Bieber, One Direction, Nicki Minaj and so on. The reason I think it's in is because I'm pretty sure V is a parody of modern culture, so we will probably see all the swag and YOLO people too. I for one do like house, electronic, hip-hop and dubstep, among others - you're not being forced to listen to it, and knowing R* they would put the better ones for the genres, like they did in GTA IV; I liked all the radio stations in IV despite not being a fan of rap, dance or metal. Why should a certain genre be removed just because I or YOU don't like it? What about the people who like those genres? Are not allowed to listen to their favourite music because of us? grandola Posted June 21, 2013 Share Posted June 21, 2013 Im open to all music, I remember playing GTA SA & driving in the country side and hearing Krose station "How i love a rainy night" "Mama don't let your babys grow up to be cowboys". even back then i was a hardcore rap fan but those songs were different and i liked them. It really opened my eyes. I didnt like GTA4's music selection though. that rap music was garbage, most radio stations had the same annoying brodcasts & "commercials" Make it more like GTA SA, Diverse, but huge favorites that anyone from any genre base would like I agree with this post 150% Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The purpose of the music in GTA isn't to appeal to our particular musical tastes so much as to be part of the world. GTA radio, and real-life radio for that matter, doesn't play the kind of music I normally listen to on my own. But I've never complained about that and I don't think GTA should play that kind of music because it wouldn't be realistic and it wouldn't fit the atmosphere of a GTA game. So I don't feel that it makes sense to say what kind of music should or shouldn't be in GTA V. If they have a dubstep station, it's not necessarily because the guys in R* who made that decision like it, but because it's part of modern musical culture that probably shouldn't be ignored. I don't like dubstep, but I can just change the channel to something I do like. I don't like rap either, but it made sense that it had multiple stations in SA given the game's focus on gang culture. I listen to some 80s music outside the soundtrack. Yeah, this is why they should include all music. I want every genre in, so people can listen what they want. Oh and I don't really like Eminem, not at all in fact, but I don't care if it's in. I just simply turn off the radio. If you heard it while browsing on the radio then its like saying tim mcgraw makes death metal. Hip hop fans do not claim the crap everyday people call "hip hop". We hate it even more then you do because it gets labeled as the music we listen to which actually has a story, meaning, and message. Not just talking about bitches, popping molly,, lambos, weed, and money.
