Waingro Posted June 21, 2013 Share Posted June 21, 2013 I sit atop an airstream trailer in the Malibu mountain area in a week long vacay, not going to lie totally did this in anticipation if GTA V. Thanks to air bnb I've stayed in Vespucci/Venice beach, ate in the Beverly Hills, saw a concert in a club at Hollywood and Vine, got wasted in East LA and spent hours on the 405 to get to the windfarms in San Berdoo and hung out in Joshua Tree. Tomorrow I'm driving up the Pacific Coast Highway. So? Well, I have a feeling that GTA V NW aide of the map will emulate the Pacific Coast Highway as well as either Ventura or Santa Barbara as a large town/small city.....the twists and turns up here are crazy and r* can't pass that opportunity for driving up. Secondly- there is an actual 14 story casino out in the desert heading towards Joshua Tree park, I couldn't believe my eyes. CVG's crowd sourced map has an indicator for casino in a pretty close approximation to its location in real life. Can anyone else confirm this? Apparently there will be Santa Monica, as was seen in that map fragment released by R* so I'd say it's plausible to be more coastal towns. Matt06 Posted June 21, 2013 Share Posted June 21, 2013 (edited) Yes indeed a few of the screens we've seen have PCH all up in them.I used to do my own version of a PCH drive in San Andreas while listening to 808 State's "Pacific" on SF-UR.
