3 Things You Won't Miss

I'll add some of my own points:

1. Overall depressing tone of the story, not that it was a bad thing, but that's something I definitely won't miss in V.

2. The ugly colors. Everything was mostly grey and it just looked bland.

3. Phone calls. Even though they weren't that annoying, Roman's had to be the worst.

4. Driving. It was such a chore in IV with cars slipping and sliding all over the place. I mostly ended up just taking taxis everywhere.

5. Soundtrack. It wasn't bad but it was pretty forgettable, won't be missing it in V. Hopefully V has a much better soundtrack.

6. Lack of planes.

7. Lack of character customization.

8. Lack of diving underwater.

9. I definitely won't miss sections of the map being blocked off in the beginning of the game.

10. I won't miss the mafia. The mafia is cool and all, but we've had more than enough of it in the GTA games.

11. Little Jacob's voice. I seriously couldn't understand a f*cking word that guy said.

1-rear ended at red lights and driving ai in general

2-dimitri

3-the Russian vibe (was good but let's move on)

I will miss:

the friend phone calls

Little Jacob

Roman

Allow me to elaborate:

I LIKED they greyness. It's autumn, and its a well known film technique that weather reflects the mood - why you think it always rains in funeral scenes?

At times it was a bit too much though but tweaking the settings helped that

I LIKED roman and friends. Them phoning was a good thing. I have never, in six+ playthroughs, been inundated with calls.

Being asked to go bowling or whatever was not a problem IMO, it added to the feel that niko wasn't alone. I will honestly miss it.

The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.

1. R* level of detail put into Liberty City was beyond beautiful, but the city itself felt dull and uninteresting respectively!

2. The AI was wasn't that bad, but boy did it give you a hard time when driving! Hopefully this is fixed in GTAV.

3. Phone calls hands down!

1. The cops' magical abilities of knowing where you are even if you're hiding.

2. The fighting system.

3. The AI.

No, natural motion is much different than ragdoll. Ragdoll basically means a body just flops around. Natural motion means that they body will try to correct itself. So when you stumble or walk around drunk in IV and your character tries to keep his feet underhimself.

Natural Motion is the name of the developers, Euphoria is the correct word for that context.

The only thing that annoyed me about them calling was they would mostly be on the other side of the map, but the frequenxy of which they call is NOTHING like what it's described on here. I can play GTA IV for a couple of hours and may get a couple of calls in that time. Sometimes not at all and I never put my phone on sleep either.

The way it's always been described it's like one friend calls and another calls a few minutes later which rarely if ever occurs. Keep in mind the social network in GTA IV was/is far more intricate than the GTA III era so it's not something I'm sure R* just wanted to lay dormant for the whole game.

1. The stupid physics when you get hit by a car and niko walks all retarded.

2. The police always knows when you kill someone no matter where u are.

3. The stupid way niko falls out of the air like a retarded baby.

LMBO yeah I have to agree with this. Niko getting hit by a car was similar to Niko trying to walk drunk. Sometimes the stupid animation gave the npc enough time to drive off, negating my planned revenge on the cocksucker that hit me.

1) Niko's awkward climbing and running. He fought in a war, yet can barely climb a fence.

2) Camera change during 1)

3) Incoherent Jacob.

1. The fact that when you drive an awesome car, it's suddenly everywhere on the street...

2. When you're driving on the highway, all of a sudden the car next to you comes bashing right into you :S

3. The lack of countryside..

4. Bowling tounge.gif

1: Omnipotent police.

F*cking around in GTA IV was difficult without pissing off the police. It was even more difficult to evade them, since they'd somehow figure out where the hell you were hiding. Not to mention the active cop cars random spawning in front of you. Hoping it's much better in GTA V.

2: Lacking arsenal.

Sucks that it took the two add-on episodes to get a semi-respectable gun locker going. The minigun making a comeback is neat, but I'd like to know about the other firearms as well.

3: Poor "choices".

I honestly don't understand the way GTA IV handled choices in missions. The ones that went against Niko's character even offered much less than the other set of choices had. I'd rather them just avoid these kinds of "choices" in GTA V.

I'l use spoiler tags for this, just in case. Don't want to catch any heat on my first day here. tounge.gif

The Holland Play

A: Kill Dwayne, or B: Kill Playboy.

Following A earns 25,000$ and nothing more, while B earns a new safehouse, a unique outfit, the ability to hang out with Dwayne, and an early Combat Pistol. Taking Choice B fits Niko's mindset, keeping the previous missions and their conversations in mind.

Blood Brothers

A: Kill Francis McReary, or B: Kill Derrick McReary.

Following A earns 10,000$ or 20,000$, and the ability to get rid of 3 stars until the storyline is complete, while B earns nothing, except the mission following this one (Undertaker) will be slightly easier due to a shorter drive. This time around, B carries less of a reward, but still fits Niko's mindset.

That Special Someone

A: Kill Darko Brevic, or B: Spare Darko Brevic.

Following either one earns no tangible rewards, but Niko will make a comment on either path; following A causes Niko to say that he "feels empty", while following B causes Niko to say that "somehow, it was better to walk away".

One Last Thing

A: Take the Deal path, or B: Take the Revenge path.

A ends the game with taking the deal, Roman dying, Kate never speaking to you again, and $250,000 earned, along with Rascalov being the final enemy.

B ends the game with taking revenge upon Rascalov, Kate dying, Roman sticking around, and $250,000 earned, along with Pegorino being the final enemy.

Though taking the B path in One Last Thing contradicts the B path in That Special Someone, keep in mind that the wounds from Rascalov's betrayal and hounding are fresh, and that he also got real personal, burning down their homes and Roman's business, as well as having Roman kidnapped. Taking B also leaves Roman alive, while Kate never speaks to you in either A or B.

Sorry for such a long post, as well. sigh.gif

1) Very dull city. It's pretty much the same thing throughout the city with very little variation. Not just that but the color scheme drove me crazy.

2) Is it just me or were the moving controls clunky af? Like your turning radius was massive.

3) I f*cking hate Roman

I liked pretty much everything in IV. I'm actually struggling to think of something I didn't like.

I wasn't too fussed that Niko didn't get a fancy mansion in Alderney, but I guess I'll like that Michael has one.

The weapon sounds, presuming they're improved in V.

Erm.... Lack of a looping freeway, also presuming V has one.

3. People that whine about IV

1. It doesnt make sense for topic

2. If you dont like people that whine about IV you dont have to enter the topic consciously. And whining about their think and desire

Unlike most of theese people i really dont like GTA IV. Because of Combat style, Gray atm, Mission repetition , Annoying dialoge and phone calls, driving, depressing style and more...

Because of all of that i couldnt play of game's even 5 percent.
