r0eladn
If you want comedy and you havnt watched the Pink Panther movies yet, i would suggest them. Dont be fooled that they are old, Peter Sellers, the main character, is by many considered the best comedian ever/of his time.
Nopheros
DUDE! If you haven't seen Rush Hour 1-3 you should watch them now instantly! BEST MOVIES EVER. Even the bloopers are f*cking amazing. You should also consider watching 21 Jump street, and the other guys.

DarrinPA
The movies I watch are mostly comedy and action. Thanks. If you like them mixed together the late 90's to early 00's had good "buddy films" at the time. Blue Streak, National Security, and Nothing to Lose are good. As Elusion123 mentioned, the Rush Hour Movies are good. The Friday series of movies are good. Dumb and Dumber is my favorite Jim Carey movie, with The Truman Show in second place. Brilliant I don't see why it shouldn't be remade into a comedy movie. The reason why they decided to render it into a movie is obiviously due to the success of the TV show. Every TV show, be it present or past will be subject to a possible cinematic rendering, regardless of the strength of its plotlines, appeal of its characters, the genre etc.

It's the fact it's a remake that's compeletely changed a Drama into a comedy. It would be like if in 20-30 years down the road somebody decided to remake The Wire as a comedy. It just doesn't seem logical.
