I don't know how they'd make doing painkillers/heroin in a videogame any fun, as opiates are my DoC in RL so that's the only thing I'd bother doing in the game haha. Other than that I just drink so that is fun in the game the way it is. Now selling, on the other hand, is pretty fun in Chinatown Wars so that feature should go into V, along with being able to find/obtain the drugs in the varied waiys that Huang does and have different gangs control different drugs, so for example in V the Mexicans can head up Black Tar heroin, Trevor Phillips Ent. does the meth, etc. All the while our protags will dabble in selling anything and everything like Huang did to pursue the almighty American f'n dollar. Weed could fill Franklin's specialty bar all the way. Meth could do the same to Trevor. And Mike could take viagra or something... Now yer cooking with gas! Character specific drugs tied to special abilities! That makes a lot of sense! Exactly! They are professional bank robbers and killers, why do they need to be f*cked up all the time? You gonna go rob a bank while you are f*cked up on pills? Maybe they'll show someone shooting up under a freeway overpass in the background of a cutscene but I don't see them dealing with it directly. But in Trevors world, eh maybe it is so a possibility. michaelfiamski Posted June 20, 2013 Share Posted June 20, 2013 I can imagine a moment where Franklin stops his sports car on side of the road in a ghetto, and after a few seconds of waiting in the car he looks around and takes out some rolling paper, a grinder, and some dank kush. You see him put the kush in the grinder, and start grinding that beautiful sh*t up. Next, he takes out two zigzags to make a two-pape joint, and he starts rolling a really fat joint. When he's finished making the perfect joint, he takes out a lighter and starts smoking it. The car windows are up, allowing him to hotbox the car thereby enveloping him in a thick cloud of smoke, thus allowing Franklin's special ability to be fully charged. Then, you see a cop walk slowly to the driver's side of Franklin's car, and he lightly taps the window with his baton. You hear Franklin go "Jesus f*cking Christ", and he disposes of the joint in the ashtray. He slowly opens the window, leaving a small opening for the smoke to rush out into the officer's face. The officer starts coughing and remarks: "God damn, that is some strong sh*t!" You see Franklin's stoned gaze, with bloodshot and droopy eyes staring at the cop. The cop tells Franklin to get out of the car once he sees it's a black guy, and Franklin responds by driving off. The cops begin chasing Franklin, and during the chase he uses his special ability to weave between multiple cars on the freeway, ultimately losing the fat pigs and riding off into the sunset. I would like to be able to smoke weed ingame and that gets my character's screen a bit blurry and he can't walk straight due to a bit dizziness ... Normal drugs that dont have STRONG effects, as I don't know much about it. Wow i didn't know weed can do that, I've been smoking for 8 years, when will I start feeling dizziness? Shrooms and peyote are really the only ones that will give you visual hallucinations. Maybe some on LSD. But like what would weed, E, crack, meth really do for the gaming experience?
