Ambient_ Posted August 19, 2013 Share Posted August 19, 2013 Someone had said before that a station in IV reported on Los Santos zoo animals escaping, so if V did it in reverse, that is reporting about events in LC, then that'd be pretty neat. Just to kind of keep you up to date on what happened after IV ended, drop a familiar name or two. That was me and I promise that's what I heard. It was about a Gorilla running rampant in the LS streets. LC being nuked would be funny to hear about because I doubt R* will return there after three iterations. I would put money on LC being at least mentioned in GTA V. There's almost no chance they will reference events from GTA IV though. dagangsta Posted August 19, 2013 Share Posted August 19, 2013 A tragic catastrophe. 3 men, a bold American, Tall eastern European and a Puerto Rican took control of the biggest ever plane in The Liberty City and it was flown into the Rotterdam Tower killing hundreds of innocent people spending their sh*tty lives in the offices. The bodies of the terrorists are still undiscovered. It is rumoured that the terrorists survived as one pedestrian that wanted to stay anonymous saw 3 men with parachutes landing on a flatbed which was circling around the star junction for over half an hour, the truck was last seen heading south, probably to the heliport in Fishmarket South. Not referencing them exactly, but possibly how it has affected Liberty City 5+ years later, or maybe there could be reports on events currently going on in the city. Kind of off topic, but it wouldn't surprise me if Michael and Trevor's old crew copped the blame for the Three Leaf Clover bank robbery actually. Even though GTA IV avoided depicting Ground Zero, now the NY skyline features One World Trade Center and it would be weird to leave the tallest building in the city out of an updated depiction. I'd like to hear a mention of Star Junction being converted to a pedestrian mall, to mock what happened with Times Square since GTA IV was out.
