To be honest, there are a few genres that may never come to consoles, such as strategy games, simulators and stuff. Those two exclusives won't be enough to convince a gamer to buy a console, with inferior hardware, not to mention that The Last Of Us doesn't really run well unlike the Uncharted games.

Everyone knows PS is my favorite. I hate the PC elitist and I show them 0 respect. I do respect pc gamers. I also respect both 360 and Nintendo gamers. I would play Nintendo products more but they got hardly any AAA titles. 360 had some great games. Same with PC.

 

We all know PC is the best. But PC isn't a console. So why compare a console to a computer? I just want to know why someone would spend $100 more plus $10 more online for a console that almost took your rights away? It isn't smart to support someone who tried to take your rights away and is in control in what ever you do. If PS4 did that I wouldn't support Sony but they didn't do this. Microsoft already hurt themselves and will fall behind this console to Sony.

It's kinda weird for Microsoft to do such a thing.

 

At first, Microsoft announces Xbox One with really restricted stuff like you need to have internet to play a game, Kinect needs to be connected in order to use Xbox, etc. And now suddenly, they have change of heart. It's like they were planning this all along or they just don't know what to do with the next-gen console, which it's probably not the case.

 

I'm still buying PS4, but I still can't tell which is better until both consoles are released.

There's enough different type of controller out there that can feel like a Xbox One. Kinect was a fail this gen and a fail next gen. ( That's only a guess ). They might go strong with exclusives like they did this gen but end up with none. ( That's only a guess ). Don't cable companies give out DVR's? The Xbox One is trying to hard to be a entertainment console while it should be a gaming console. A lot of hardcore 360 fanboys use to say Xbox 360 was all about gaming while the PS3 was entertainment. Now it's the opposite.

Yes there will be a lot of different controllers but there will only be one Xbox one controller. I don't believe the kinect was a fail, and you can't say that it will fail next gen. From what I heard, people who used the new kinect said that it is way better than the 360 one. And apparently you know that all of the exclusives will be horrible, even though you didn't play them. With the dvr you can record your games, and upload them to different places, and you can also livestream with their partnership with twitchtv.

I don't know why anyone would 'laugh at console gamers'. At the end of the day you prefer PC gaming whilst I and many others prefer console gaming. It's not mind blowing that some people prefer the more casual nature of console gaming and I certainly don't understand why you would laugh at them for going with what they find the easier and more suitable option.

Also, I don't understand why they used a mid range PC for that Rome II demo when they could have shown it off much better with better hardware, oh well.

After having played Last of Us, yeah I'd say Rome 2 would be the more fun game. Why? Because I'm not a fangirl like you and I have interests in games that are outside of the PS3. Rome 2 is a completely different genre and a PC game. It's not boring. It may look like it is but it's a very good series and the re-playability/longevity of the game is amazing. I guess the problem is, it just takes actual brains to play it which is probably more than you can manage based on all the posts I have seen from you bashing anyone who has a different opinion from you and viewing them as inferior to you because of it.

Are you serious? The webcam & camera on your phone isn't required to be on & functioning to allow me to use my laptop & phone. However it currently does on the Xbox 180 (thanks to whoever gave it that new name).

 

This turnaround makes the decision makers at Xbox look inept, incompetent & indecisive (the three i's).
