irish_rebel Posted June 19, 2013 Share Posted June 19, 2013 I've only ever pre-ordered one game from them, Dead Island Riptide Zombie Bait Edition, it got dispatched on the Wednesday, arrived on Thursday, in a car, not a delivery van which was strange lol I did however have to pay an extra £25 for shipping because i'm not in mainland UK, I'm in Northern Ireland, as long as you're in either England, Scotland or Wales, you should have no problems getting the game in time and have free shipping Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If it's just the standard you wont pay anything for delivery but if it is the Collector's you'll probably have to pay the £25 when the game gets dispatched. steven2805 Posted June 19, 2013 Share Posted June 19, 2013 Shopto in recent years has been sliding downhill, prices are climbing and they are becoming much less competitive. They have also removed free signed for delivery instead and now using a none signed for cheaper alternative I pre-ordered GTA4 and it was not shipped until the day before release so it ended up arriving on release day, shopto will be forced to ship 1 day before release in line with all other online retailers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

However been as this game is out and a Tuesday and not a Friday like most UK games then the chance of it been delivered a day early from anywhere is very slim. Still it's worth a shot with ShopTo. Personally I'm going with somewhere cheaper as I'd rather save £5 and take the risk of getting it on release day then pay £5 more on the slim chance I'll get the game early.
