1 - Still some issues using Silent Patch. (sorry Silent ! )

 

If I keep the Patch ON, game crashes after some few minutes driving. If I turn it OFF, I can mess around for looong (15 minutes tested). It's not a question of disabling NVCshaders....I need to remove it.

I'm not mad, I just need to know what incompatibilities are present so I (we?) can fix it.

Twopass, NVC shader and tweaked weapons rendering (broke Z writing like hell) are now disabled if SARender.asi is found.

I hope for understanding and help, you can add more info in that table so we can find out what bugs needed to fix in next public version

Improved timecyc wasn't the reason of crash but modified d3d9.dll from UltraThing was ;)

 

I can also report that loading savegames/new game with Frame Limiter off causes black screen, menu is still accessible but turning Frame Limiter on will load as normal. I guess Matpila with GTX 720 Ti already reported it anyway.

 

EDIT: It didn't save before but it did now. Never mind, I edited it myself.

Um, Z buffer issues might have been caused by the patch. On my GTX 550 Ti (drivers version 314.22, Win NT6.0) there's no issues now, and I guess they would handle stuff similarly.

Regarding a freeze - game is (probably) exceeding 1000FPS during the blackout moment and that's the reason of the freeze. I wouldn't call it SA::Render issue. But if you want to fix it, just make sure game does NOT go above 1000FPS.

 

Or I might add this to SilentPatch, seeing how III/VC renditions do have this fixed by reworking timers.

 

 

EDIT:

Checked the FPS when loading, I got over 1100FPS during the blackout moment. So yes, that's the issue.

Well, you see the Bugs I got, in the Video I sent you :)

 

Biggest issue:

- Strange shadowflickering on Buildings

- Sometimes the shadows of Buildings which are "out of sight" diasappear. (building behind the player for example)

 

The rest of the bugs like : no vertex alpha, bad alpha channel, no lighting at night etc. are only present because you didn't implemented them yet, right?

Testing revision 102:

SO: Windows 7 x86
EXE: 1.0 US Hoodlum.
Mods installed: sa_widescreenfix_lite & SADisplayResolutions.

Bugs(the same as all, some unnecessary put it, but, well):
Alphas.
No water.
And sometimes, weapons didn't render.

PD: When I tryed to build the revision 102, it gave me error C2039 in clight.cpp ('m_vDummyPos' : is not a member of 'CVehicleModelInfo::CVehicleStructure') on this string:

RwV3d headlightPos = pModelinfo->m_pVehicleStruct->m_vDummyPos[2]; 

I should delet that for do it work, for this, I have one question, what did i'm wrong?

My test also shows:

 

-no water

-no alpha

-and no shadows (lol)

 

1.0 EXE

955BE 3.7GHz

HD7770 1GB

4GB DDR3

WIN7 x86

Tested a little bit and found some other issues:

 

Widescreen fix Lite results in a Crash.

Doesn't work with SA:MP.

NVidia FXAA doesn't work anymore.

Taking a Photo makes your HUD invisible.

 

And Random Crashes after around 5 Minutes..

When I press F12 the game crashes :/

The weapons are invisible too (WTF?!)

And FPS is 30-20; better than with original graphics or any ENB series (OMG!) here my PC:

^I think the message box says all: "This plugin can't be launched with plugin.dll", thats because dk's hud is builded with the new version of plugin sdk, which dont need plugin.dll.

 

@PetkaGtA Maybe, I use a combination of link2012 and dk new versions of plugin sdk.

Okay, but if I erase plugin.dll, the SA:Render don't works. What can I do? That should be cool if we can use SA:Render & DK's GTA 5 HUD at the same time :D

It works now ! No repetitive crash...only some random crashes (very rare)...probably caused by WidescreenLite (as a guy previously said).

BTW...I put a small video on youtube just to show the Shadow issues...not really necessary since everybody is having the same problem...but it's done anyway.

My pc specs:

intel core i7

AMD/ATI Radeon HD 6650M 2GB

8 GB Ram

Windows 7 64 bit

 

GTA San Andreas ::Sa Render:: Bugs
- Lamp post vanishes directly after you have destroyed it
- Mirrors in cj's house doesn't work (like its not being rendered)
- The yellow marker (the one that shows you that you can enter that interior) doesnt being rendered
- When about to start a mission or if you are in a missions the red ring is not rendered (like its cant be drawn) so its hard to complete missions with
- Game freezes (example.. when you are in a cutscene and its fading to another cutscene) when over 1000 fps
- Sometimes you can see lamp post lights through stuff (not so rare)
- At night car lights dont work
- When you are in the air and flying around building and other this happens 1jq1vr.jpg
- (Might be) I was standing on grove street and suddenly i look at gta's highest tower(i cant remember the name xD) and i was drawing shadows there?
- (Might be) Sa Render increasing the draw distance slightly more than it is in the options
- When you are high enough in the air, the airplane's shadow is becoming a square shadow
- If a object/Ped/Vehicle is out of sight(if you facing the other way) the shadows are disappering from it at the ground
- Trees is broken (you can see some kind of static in them)
- You cant see youself or other peds holding weapons
- CJ's house is broken(some kind of static is replacing the floor)
- No Water (its still there but its not rendering)
- Night Shadows are appearing¨
- Shadows flickering
- Shadows are flickering at long distance
- Pressing f12 crashes the game
- not compatible with cleo scripts(it can run with cleo but just with no cleo scripts loaded (like if they chance the stream memory limit it just crashes after 15 - 30 sec in-game))
- All helicopters rotors is kind of broken
Total Bugs - 22

4) We can't tell clearly how the mod will affect FPS at this time. But we'll try to make it more playable even on weak PCs. Configuration files will be presented, ofcourse.

so , is it really true , that maybe , just , Maybe , one day this mod will be playable even on my Intel R HD Graphics ?

This can only get better

Apart from a few bugs, the mod is great.

 

Adf.lying others mods, how lame is that. It's like going on some else's party and demand cash for entry.

nope, not demanding. "intermission". research that word if you do not over stand its meaning, and simply, don't use the links if its such a bother.

So I tried this on a Nvidia 8400 GS and it ran quite well better then test 1 but notice some bugs that some appear on some peoples screenshots but besides that ran well.

@ziggyYardie well I saw you making money of others mods and all that stuff, using that adfly stuff. Well... let me explain why it's not cool - since start this projeckt is not financed by any people, even if from 1000 downloads you get 1$ and users downloaded it about 20000 as my mediafire shows(while your video has watched over that value), but you do that ad.fly stuff twice so you get about 40$ even if we didn't take youtube totally it's like if we payed you 40$ for advertising... so you making users wait 10 seconds,wathing some useless stuff just to pay me and DK(not sure everyone think that but some users do) but they paying you so it's better if you add one adfly link in description while other links will be in normal format but probably that won't happen
Anyway some hotfix including:
Fixed alpha rendering(can result in less fps)
not sure but may be fixed Z-Test problems.
Feel free to send bugreports!

Looks like most of the alpha bugs have been corrected for me, and yes, a few less FPS indeed.

 

Are the trees meant to look like this?

Also, sometimes shadows disappear at certain angles; most noticeable on palm vegetation.

Alot of flickering of the lighting on models too.
