Everything seems to load ok (no error messages or crashes) but in-game nothing changes. Nvidia user, already tried at fx low.

Exact same issue, tried everything and it doesn't work.

i have the same but all blue screen only mini map and hud how i can fix this? i have ati radeon 2600 xt pro

EDIT: after using another asi loader (i think it was silent's i have a black screen during interiors)

Holy sh*t, I just found out now that Render is. ASI plugin. My friends were talking about it a great deal. Initially I thought the rendering of 3dsmax.
Does this plugin causes lag?

Works fine on my end after installing the VC runtimes:

It's still not ready for prime time yet, but at least it's light years away from what vanilla SA looks like. Would've been better if you guys softened the shadows like in the previous builds, and I more or less find the bokeh effect a bit too much.

 

Now the only thing missing is a specular/normal texture pack for SRT or other texture mods.

luckily, my friend tried this on his computer (just drag n' drop to SA folder) without install anything again. works.

Just download the x64 and x86 installers, the ARM one's for Windows RT tablets only.

To me i start a new game and instead of displaying the airport cutscene (because everytime i start a new game) it's all black..

What do you mean?

If normals are presented in .dff, Render won't generate/replace them.

i mean does implementing normal map in SA:render the same as adding nrm of Ryosuke? or SA:Render automatically calculates normal just like bump maps of enb?

you need to add normal map texture to txd with name <base_texture>_<normal_map_suf>

Where <normal_map_suf> could be

 

nnrmnorm

I too have this problem T_T & my gtasa crash at 2 seconds to start the savegame, and run very low speed.

 

My pc specs:

 

- ASUS i7 - 3537U, 2.0GHz

- RAM: 8GB

- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 720M 2GB

- SO: Windows 8 x64 bits

- HDD Space: 1TB

 

PD: My gtasa always run very fast with graphics in "Very High", but with the mod no...

@dk what do you mean by base and by texture?If it works on the current beta state (I added nrm to vest.txd using the name vest_vest_nrm) but upon running sa the vest(first cloth cj wear upon starting) is gone and it is replaced by cj without torso cloth.

I had the problem with player textures too. If I'm right its related to player.img itself.

what should I do if my game just fails to start up at all after installation? At first I had trouble starting it because I was missing MSVCP120.DLL which I retrieved through one of the links posted before, but now it just fails to start at all.

everyone , I found the problem .
There is a mod that you installed which causes these problems with render
+Crash after Load
+Normal (no effect)

So try to find out which causes this !
