that .asi makes my game crash after it finishes loading, even if I replace the sky.fx file with the one from the trunk.

People people... If you don't know how to compile the plugin, then, basically, you're not even allowed to get your hands on it yet. Even simple knowledge on coding might help on finding bugs and what causes it, and how to fix it. If you can't even compile it, then you clearly can't help in finding anything.

And I bet developers would appreciate a lot if you edited your posts and removed the link to that old, pre-compiled build you're sharing.

Well.. this is the exact reason why they didn't release a beta.. people are doing nothing but saying this and that doesn't work when they just got the ASI off of a random link yet they have no idea what they're doing.

Yes, they are releasing a beta now, probably because they're bored to see everyone begging for a beta release. To be honest, I wish it'll have some bugs which make it unplayable, just to show you why they haven't done any releases before this.

Stiffy said it, they're only releasing it since its new years and people keep asking for it, but at least they're releasing a version that somewhat works. People are releasing broken .rar's and now a bunch of people are complaining about it. If they released a beta a few months ago in the mods early stages when people requested it even more, the complaining would be huge because people expect it to work even though its still a beta.

 

Also, I said this is the reason why they DIDN'T release a beta, not why they aren't releasing a beta.

I just want the shadow mapping and water reflections. but with the others effects included in it makes it look better , We are lucky that some people like petkaGTA , Dk22Pac , TheJAMESGM , Thirteen AG and SilentPL are still modding , Making impossible graphics for GTA SA , A Salute to All modders

It was configurable in one of the older builds I tested it on.

Take a look at the "SARender.ini"

For me, the water reflection and wet reflection is important, but shadow, isn't important, maybe my GTA SA super lag because the shadow enabled

Petka, not be if this count as a "bug", but I have already downloaded the "msvcp120.dll" and installed correctly, but, when i started the game give me this error:

 

"Asi loader error: Error loading plugin Render.asi"
