Blaster_pl

CSkyRender should be disabled to restore sky and other effects should work. I have to figure out how to disable it.

Where is it could you tell me? When i said my statement before it sounded like a fix wasn't implying i knew it was.Any ways hope you can tell me.

Alright man good to hear that you will fix this. Hope more things can be added. Also i might contribute some stuff in the future.

Thanks man but when i compiled it and the game loaded everything except the hud was pitch black. Anything ideas?

Doesn't look like it, r78 has still the same shaders as r76.

Well, it looks like r78 eventually corrupts RwEngineState switches, as outlines (and all UI black stuff like fadeouts and radardisc) are vanishing after a while:

I mean the lighting which was present in earlier builds, like I showed on my older screenshot:

For some reason it's gone in versions with SkyRender enabled.

If you need to split another IDA C header into those game files, I have written an effective tool for that.

"lint.exe": my private (and open-sourced) Lua Interpreter

"luaBench/seperateIDAHeader.lua": actual converter

 

It is really fancy. It supports...

* Header addition

* Dependency calculation (adds header files of used objects)

* Type redirection (_DWORD to unsigned int)

* Forward declarations of critical types (to prevent circle jerks)

* Ignoring of "built-in" types

* enums and structs

* padding of struct members

 

And best is: it is open source!

readme.txt included. On questions, ask me.

 

Sample output

(I am not linking an entire game/ folder as I do not know what the SA::Render author thinks about this.)

 

Known issues:

 

* There is a parsing error in the 'gta_sa.h' file

To fix this, you gotta edit the gta_sa.h file (or ask the SA::Render dev to put a proper C-style one).

I noticed that many class names use illegal characters (spaces, question marks, dots, ...).

The shipped 'gta_sa.h' has some errors fixed (but not all). For instance, the _OVERLAPPED structs with illegal names have been removed.

 

* When I put the 'game' folder into my repository, SA::Render still does not compile

The converter has done a huge step for you by outputting the seperate header files.

Without C++ knowledge, you aint gonna compile anyway. Try to fix the errors by wrenching them (for now).

Petka, I have a question. Some guy on youtube said that it won't be compatible with SA:MP at all (not only the wet roads & water). Is he right?

I tested it on SA:MP and it didn't work, it has the same problem DexX's SA GFX 0.3 suffers, game gets stuck in the welcome screen and SA:MP doesn't load.

Anyone tested it in Windows XP yet? Maybe it's just like ENB Series latest versions, only works correctly with SA-MP on Windows XP.

Lol, but i'm getting bored playing gta sa with enb after Makarus release his SA DirectX 1.3...

Because his DirectX 1.3 beat all the enb configurator in THIS thread.

Anyway, sa render would be nice even better than GTA IV with lowest settings lol.gif

If I copy my self-compiled SA::Render .asi into the game directory, it asks me for "D3DDeviceReset.dll". How do I fix this? Using r80 googlecode.

Anything new on status on sky @PetkaGtA since you said that you would remove the sky stuff for now.Also it's hard to tell what is changed on google code. Because it says no message.

Crap-Render, what a wonderful name given to a mod this complex by a man with no modding skill whatsoever.
