What shaders version do you use? I guess you could try to squeeze the stuff in via 2.0 shaders if you want to make it playable on weak PCs.

Yes, shadows look very good so far. But they have much problems, like you see there these jagged edges. Also, problems with long-distance shadows. I hope we will fix this after realising some more complex technique like cascade shadows...

And we working with sm 3.0 for this time, but maybe we will make some optimiztion for using shaders on 2.0 model. But later.

I think no. Last time we tried to launch it in SA-MP, we had some weird bugs like transparent world, and some others. I have no idea why did this happen.

ENB series with bump-mapping also have problems with transparent world. (Only on win7 or win8)

On windows XP bump mapping in SAMP is working fine without any bugs.

How is difference between your water and ENB's?

Shadows and deffered lighting are great, give life to San Andreas.

Please tell more about car painting. Is it use second color from carcols or is gradient just caused by light?

Difference between ENB's water and SA::Render's water is that Enb only makes water texture transparent, where as SA::Render applies a reflective shader in it.

 

And from what I understood about car paint, it's gradient caused by light.

I think we'll make some analogue of carcols.dat (carpaint.dat, for example) and put additional color schemes there.

MRZ, currently we have no sky(because of rewriting and other stuff...) but as soon as we do a basic forward lighting version we get to deffered and sky smile.gif

2013 is surely a great year for SA's modding!

Shadows looks better, than in GTA IV with 1.0.7.0 patch!

I guess this would be an awesome Christmas gift for all SA lovers! icon14.gif

Am I glad to find this mod. Anything to make already a great game even better. Hopefully it won't die and gets release soon. Congrats on this and good luck with it.

As far as I've seen on the original Russian topic, this won't support ENB. But ENB is crap. For screenshots and specially prepared videos maybe not, but for playable gameplay, yes. This on the other hand makes everything better, without breaking the original feel of the game, and looks very playable.

I think because people don't make playable settings, but mostly they like to add to much bloom and make nice ss. I'm not expert, but I think is possible to make very good looking playable ENB. Also ENB is developed so long and Marty adds advanced new features with Master Effect. I don't understand complaining about ENB.

 

Anyways it is very promising that developing of SA Render is so fast. And thanks for this topic and explanation smile.gif

Not that you might know, but ENB won't be developed for SA (and VC and III) anymore.

I just want to have my jaw dropped when SA::Render is released.

Would your project SA::Render accept some requests or Ideas ?

If so i would request a Light-Trail effect.

because lots of games uses it , would be very nice to see it.

It's not crap. Don't belittle Boris' work just because something better is showing up. People did the same with Srt3, and it shows a total lack of respect to the modders.

 

That being said, this is very impressive. I had no idea something like this was posible in the SA engine, it's amazing what you guys are achieving here.

Mainly complain people which never try to create any mod. ENB it is amazing work, amazing idea and 90% people here even don't know anything about programing. I never noticed that any moder said "It is crap" to other guy which trying to do best.

'nuff said. icon14.gif And 'nuff off-topic, also stop flaming ENB. Both are great mods, from different great authors.

 

SA::Render is definitely the best graphic mod available this time around. Hope you fix the bugs, and finally have a release date ! inlove.gif Absolutely love how everything looks ! The jagged shadows seem to look great for me though. tounge2.gif
