Chunky Lee Chong 5 Posted June 26, 2005 I prefer Los Santos and the surrounding area because it was the first city and the one I spent most time in. I also loved the fact that it had a nice highway and went from ghetto to business to rich. It's a nice city overall.

I spent more of my time there because of the Gang Wars and just having fun with messing with the Ballas. I just like the surrounds of it, makes me feel 'gansta'. !nF3rnuZ 0 Posted June 26, 2005 Every city has it's pro's and con's I'd say LV,cuz it's the easiest town to play side missions in -the roads are wide and flat LS does make me feel "gangsta" as well lol. I destest San Fierro bcuz of that i failed level 12 paramedic there and bcuz of Zero's missions
Frolicated 0 Posted June 26, 2005 I destest San Fierro bcuz of that i failed level 12 paramedic there and bcuz of Zero's missions That's the only con and can find with San Fierro, Zero. His missions sucked big, hairy, greasy goat testis with a giant, pulsing vein throbbing on the side of them.
ADJ 5 Posted June 26, 2005 Well, SF's my favourite. LS is kinda dingy and LV's too big and bright, but SF's just right - like Liberty City; there's just something special about it.
angelus101 0 Posted June 26, 2005 to be smart usin mega jump cheat to go on part of liberty city staunton is my fav but well i wud have to say los venturas cus its busy lively lots of bright lights at night and casinos (earning/losing) money
TEoS 1,431 Posted June 26, 2005 I prefer Los Santos because it's the only place I can pick up gang members. However, if there was a Grove Street spawn in every city, San Fierro would be my favorite simply because I wiped out all the Los Santos gangs.

I had more fun before the gang wars, so I could still kick the sht out of the Ballas but I wouldn't wipe them out entirely. It was good fun.
mikeswi 7 Posted June 26, 2005 I like Los Santos the best. Feels the most like a real city. SF is prettier and fun to race in. LV is nice but all the torches and heat rising effect screws my frame rates.
Werleman1 0 Posted June 26, 2005 I love Los Santos , I dont know why . I just like the ghetto feel of the City .
OCDee 1,469 Posted June 26, 2005 i love LS really. because it the best place to ride a bmx cycle because its a 'poor' area so it does not care what kinda ride you got also, what is the 'theme' of San Fierro Really?? like In Los Santos its 'Gangta' and such. in Las Venturas' its 'Rich Guy'. so what is the theme there? casual civilian? JamesBenson 0 Posted June 26, 2005 San Fierro, the tarmac is really clean, the whole city is portrayed in such a good manner.
Thomas2 2 Posted June 26, 2005 Out of the cities, i say Los Santos, but my favorite Area in whole SA, is easily the Desert. The Airport and the feeling is just...amazing!
nlitement 11 Posted June 26, 2005 No doubt about it - Las Venturas. I want to live in Las Vegas so naturally I like Venturas. Me too soulbro <
drunk_monk 0 Posted June 27, 2005 I like LV LS and the areas between the cites
Jigsaw 0 Posted June 27, 2005 I like Los Santos the most. It's more detailed and feels more alive than the other cities. Las Venturas comes in second. It also feels relatively detailed and alive. San Fierro, however, looks halfassed to me. I think there is a lot less detail to find there. It just feels empty and sterile. That's why i don't like it. It's as if Rockstar lost interrest or was out of time when it came to creating that city.
Studbeefpile 0 Posted June 27, 2005 It feels that the most detail was put into Los Santos. So naturally that's my favourite, then comes San Fierro, then Las Venturas. Venturas felt a little bland... I only finished all the story missions, so I haven't done much exploring, my mind might be swayed later
samadriel 0 Posted June 27, 2005 I like Los Santos the best. Feels the most like a real city. SF is prettier and fun to race in. LV is nice but all the torches and heat rising effect screws my frame rates. Yeah, I don't like Venturas' heat effect much, I find it too 'loose', and would've preferred just coming up a short distance off the tops of cars and off the street... It'd be a bit more realistic that way, I think. Los Santos is fun for the ghetto aspects and its cluttered layout; it's a bit of a bitch to race through, but there are lots of interesting architectural nooks and crannies to check out, plus 100 tags to look for, and gang wars. San Fierro's good for, say, the import/export ship, Wang Cars, Wheels Arch Angels, Katie (hey, I'll gladly take her out to dinner if she'll get me out of hospital with all my guns!), and some sweet stretches and hills upon which impressive speeds and jumps can be achieved; staying on the trolley-tracks keeps a lot of traffic off your back when you just wanna make your Banshee soar for most of a city block!... Las Venturas I find the least interesting in itself -- it shares the kind of flatness and emptiness that tainted Vice City somewhat -- however I did enjoy looking for the horseshoes, and it's packed with cars that're fun to drive (you don't even have to jack 'em, they're parked outside the casinos!); plus it's closest to the jetpack, so you get time to do a lot of 'vertical' exploring that you mightn't get around to in the other cities. Colhad 0 Posted June 27, 2005 San Fierro, love all the hilly streets. Brings out the stunt driver in me.

Samadriel said it all in a nicely packaged nutshell. I also am very fond of Los Santos, the only thing, the only thing I dislike about Los Santos is there are no open save areas, like at the Doherty Garage and the Four Dragons Casino. I must have those because I have a tendency to start a game and leave the room before the loading is finished and I find it highly entertaining to come back and see that there's a fight breaking about or something, or just to even hear life. Of course CJ's little comments are pretty cool, but I need more. I wanna enter the room, look at my monitor and see what CJ sees...............I sense I've gone to far. GroveSt4Life05 1 Posted June 27, 2005 I like all three cities, but San Fierro is by far the best. The Big Pointy Building is awesome (base jumping rocks) and when you 6 stars in a Hydra you can go under the bridges and make the ones tailing you crash into it. Oh yea, the homeless dudes with the signs on their shirts - "God is Playing With Us" and "Weel Work for Pot." Fun stuff in SF.
GTA_kev 0 Posted June 27, 2005 I don't know if it counts but I like the mountain areas such as Whetstone etc Mount Chiliad is awesome to jump off.
Frolicated 0 Posted June 28, 2005 I guess the rural areas count, since they can't exactly be classified into a city.
darkad1 0 Posted October 4, 2005 What is your favorite city from SA, Vice city and GTA III. (San Fierro, Los Santos, Las Venturras, Liberty city or Vice city) Mine is Los Santos.
Barguast 7 Posted October 4, 2005 Mine is Los Santos. Why? Without any attempt at justifying your choice, this topic really doesn't serve much purpose. I'll leave this open for now, but I must insist that anyone who replies attempts to explain why 'x' city is their favourite.
Mike_Toreno 1 Posted October 4, 2005 (edited) Probably Los Santos or Las Venturas, but San Fierro is just miserable, the weather is mostly rain... but its not all bad because its bumpy so its good for races and my souped up cars Las Venturas and Los Santos are my fave because it just feels like a nice place to be in, and I love gambling at the casinos. I like the countryside mostly in Los Santos Oh and there have been millions of these topics. - Mike Edited October 4, 2005 by Mike_Toreno

original gangster 1 Posted October 4, 2005 Mine too, is LS.. erm... -runs away- original gangster tells matt that there is ways to use a me tag -sigh- well, now that i've posted, might as well say san fiero, because the hills are great fro driving through, and all in all it's a great place to be -OG
Dodge Boy City 1 Posted October 4, 2005 I like the Badlands best. Along with the desert, its unlike anything in any other GTA game, and the bumpy hills and lonely treks make for some great excitement. It's amazing all the mischief you can gey up to!! If i had to say an actual city it would probably be San Fierro. It seemed the best point of the game and the missions here were all brilliant. I liked Vice Citys crisp cleanliness and way of life, and San Fierro, for me, is the closest to that! Nuff said.
