For all we know there could be the desert in between. Or a huge mountain range. It sounds optimistic but I am sure it will be bigger than it "looks" like. It's not looking very impressive. Shows they have a partnership/friendship without Michael, or maybe they're just working together for a heist. Considering Lamar's there, and everyone is speculating Jimmy will help with heists, I kind of hope that it's a running theme/gag that while the main trio is very good/experienced, things mess up when they involve people from their individual lives. I did a quick search and came up with this: On the southwest side of the Salton Sea is a U.S. Navy test base which is currently being considered for a pilot project to produce electricity by trapping the sun’s heat within a salt pond. This concept has been proven effective in Israel on the Dead Sea. Large quantities of Salton Sea water would be required to create the solar pond; such ponds are composed of two layers, a lower one with high salt concentration (90,000 ppm TDS) and temperature (195 degrees F; 90 degrees C) and an upper one with salinity similar to that of the Sal ton Sea (40,000 ppm TOS) and ambient temperature (Jet Propulsion 1981). Initial plans are for a 5 MW pond covering 1 km2 (0.4 mi2) to be placed in the Sea. If the initial project proves to be economically feasible, then a 600 MW solar pond in or adjacent to the Sea, covering approximately 80 km2 (50 mi2) will be developed. There can't be just a highway that starts east of LS and just loops around the mountain to get back west of LS. At this point, it does look like the highway just loops around the map with some small towns here and there. I'm hoping there's something significant hidden somewhere. Trust me, i know the negative ones and i always jump on them, but i dont get that vibe from choco at all. His map was pretty close to the blue print in terms of accurate size. I hope the next news will offer something fresh. GTAIV's proper website launch was great with lots of random interactive stuff, bring that back.
