As a YouTuber I'll be compiling all the information together to form a video. I've been a GTA fan for about 8-9 years now and from what I've gathered I believe that at some point or another GTA V will appear on the PS4 and Xbox One. Vice City Stories and Liberty City Stories were released on the PS2 close to the launch of the Playstation 3 and YET it only arrived on the Playstation store this year -- in April in fact. Question is - will GTA V come with better graphics if and when it does come to the PS4 or Xbox One -- taking advantage of their full capabilities? I know that GTA V will look A LOT better on PC (if it is ever released) than it ever will on consoles - and it always has - like GTA 3 on the PC looked fab compared to the console version. I've also noticed how Sony are trying to sell a few more PS3's before the PS4 does come out by shipping what seems to be a $30 GTA V branded headset with the console. Anyway opinions please: - Will GTA V come to the PS4 and Xbox One? - If so when do you think this will be? - Will it come with improved graphics? I know some earlier models of the PS3 were backward compatible but I'm not sure if this is going to be the case for the PS4. English is fine bud! He's right, and i think that this will be the final version for the game, they won't release a special edition for PS4, maybe it will just run faster on PS4... They actually stated the opposite (but Sony plans to use its service called Gaikai to allow for the streaming older games to the PS4): http://www.engadget.com/2013/02/20/playsta...-compatibility/ Also, if GTA V is eventually released via the PlayStation Store for download on the PS4/Xbox Live Marketplace for the Xbox One (which quite frankly is the only way I can see GTA V being 'next gen') - much like GTA: Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories and other GTA III-era games - there probably won't be any graphical improvement over the original version. But i don't believe it would look a lot better. Unless they decide to make a pc version with higher res textures, upgraded lighting and shadows, and release it simultaneous with a ps4 version, I wouldn't expect otherwise than smoother performance. d3ex2 Posted June 11, 2013 Share Posted June 11, 2013 I'm 100% sure that GTA V will be on PS4. Here are the options: • Rockstar releases a true PS4 version with better graphics/performance. (Same time as PC release) • Rockstar ports the PS3 version over as a "PS3 Classic" like they have with III/VC/SA as PS2 Classics. (Many years from now). • GTA V (PS3) is one of the games playable through Gaikai in 2014. So yeah I'm pretty damn sure GTA V will be on PS4. It's just a matter of HOW and WHEN. I agree on this, I prefer that they start develope on Grand Theft Auto 6 after V is released than rather wasting time too get V on PS4 and XONE. Nop that post only proves that they don't want to reveal anything before they make the most sales out of the current gen, if they said yesterday it would be on Next Gen... their sales would crash and burn. Just Marketing, wait a few months or so and you'll see it. PC version is already being ported to the Next Gen, like it or not, we've seen many footage that show they have a better version in their hands other then how it will look like in the end... and you wonder why they never show gameplay... not to spoil the game... ya right.
