Zancudo Posted December 9, 2013 Share Posted December 9, 2013 Rockstar's engines were always designed firstly for that they could process huge worlds with huge amount of objects in it, advanced character animations and dynamic car destruction system (etc.); graphics were second to that, and it's quite logical why. It's clear to me that Snowdrop is going to be way ahead of Rockstar's next-gen engine, since the first one doesn't have to render such things as giantic open world or a sh*tload of cars & people on the streets. While I agree with that, if Rockstar get familiar with the PS4 and Xbone, they could pull of something similar to Snowdrop, if not better. But I HIGHLY doubt that. Also, concerning Rockstar's "RAGE 2.0", I'll eat my shoe if they release a game *ahemAGENTahem* that looks better than this. They've had some considerable time to work on another title. Watch dogs,the crew, sc conviction,blacklist,far cry 3,rayman,driver sf,several rainbow six games. They only deliver the ac games on time. Well we're having GTA Online this year and The Crew and Watch Dogs so not a big deal about delay. This gives the devs a bit more leg room to work with more next-gen technology than current and perhaps make the game what we saw during it's reveal if not better. Sucks but I think we can wait. It seems like a combination of rainbow and graw to me! I hope it feels more like rainbow though as I was never a fan of graw.
