fair enough, yeah.

I'm not arguing or anything.

you're right obviously about the vehicle that goes by in the background.

I was just responding to LazyboyEight's idea about ordinary vehicles (like a taxi) being driven around during PVP, for instance, with your buddies doing GTA-like driveby's out the window.

that would seriously ruin the flavor of this game, I'm afraid.

This looks so awesome. This will be one of the first games I'll get for Xbox one!

Yeah, rather play this than GTA V at the moment honestly.

Gonna have to pick this up for PC now but will definitely get it for PS4 first

Can't imagine it's anything major. I expect it to be a few extra quests, some weapons and maybe some exclusive vehicles.

Is there vehicles in the game ?

I'm making assumptions based on the E3 trailer. Those cop cars were pretty damn detailed and judging by how big the map looked, I imagine there's another form of transport other than walking.

I wonder exactly how big they have mapped out NYC and the boroughs.

Looking forward to it.

Nice to see that it will be on PC as well, though that last video makes the game look easy with the spotting.

As a person who is not getting a next-gen console, I am excited. smile.gif

Two of Ubisoft's most interesting games from E3 2013, The Division and The Crew, will appear not just for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as originally confirmed.

They will also come out for the PC and current-gen consoles, in the form of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, at least according to a new report.

The Division impressed quite a lot of E3 attendants, promising to deliver an online experience that's more like an action adventure than a traditional role-playing game.

The Crew, meanwhile, offers a different type of online experience, emphasizing racing both alone and with others.

While the two games were confirmed for the PS4 and Xbox One, a new report from The Examiner reveals that PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 editions are in the works.

Wii U versions aren't likely, according to the inside source, so it seems that Ubisoft's love for the Nintendo platform is running out.

Interestingly, when asked about the game’s release platforms, The Division’s Ryan Barnard said, “It’s set for release winter 2014 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but we’re not ruling out other platforms because we do also read the internet.”

I'm going to buy this, for sure, if it comes to the PS3.

Read what he quoted.

I was responding to what Ryan Barnard said.

whenever a developer says they're "reading the internet" they're usually just throwing the fanboys a bone to settle them down. what they really mean is "stop asking questions" because they really don't want to port this game from new PS4 framework down to old PS3 framework tounge2.gif

I guess it would be nice if they did but I'm buying next-gen anyhow.

in a situation like this it doesn't benefit the developer (financially) to release the game across multiple generations of platforms. that only divides the online community which hurts overall sales.

I will get it once I have the Xbox 1. But I won't get that until the price drops a lot. I can wait for that easily because I will be occupied with GTA V for a long time. smile.gif

If only Outlast was also coming to X1.. Why only PC and PS4? >:(

The Division won't come onto the PS3, Ubisoft themselves said, the consoles aren't powerful enough to handle The Division, also, it will come out in Q4 2014, it'll be dead by then.

The Division verifies the importance of substance in games. Details comprised in graphics give it a huge immersion boost. Makes the gameplay mechanics much more alive.

Who says visuals aren't crucial for the overall impression, I call him a hypocrite!

Yeah it's amazing for sure. It will be very interesting to see this vs the new rage engine by Rockstar.

Obviously the RAGE will suck when compared with the Snowdrop. Rockstar never had a decent engine and I doubt that it will ever change.

Of course, it will suck when you are comparing a current gen engine to an engine that is specifically developed for X1/PS4/PC. SMH

Comparing an engine with another one of which has not been revealed yet and you have no idea of it's capabilities? Interesting.
