Anways I will carry on boring those who've had enough with my ramblings as a junior...Well now I'm gear score 210 have been doing the missions on hard ,great fun but mediocre yellow gear...tried Dragons Nest and Falcon Lost ,with similar big hearted souls , mamma mia did we get wasted....are these actually doable?...comments from my peers would be appreciated. Also tipped my tootsies onto the underground, and will dive deeper as just love the combat .... Don't you have guaranteed GS224 weapon or GS268 gear drop each time you level up in underground? Just started and all drops are yellow and pale green top gear ...havn't had any 268 yet , but early days, Underground yields far more easily than the merry go round that is the Dark Zone.. Don't like knowing that if I decide to not play it for a week or two I'm behind the powercurve by an order of magnitude and have to fight to catch back up. Maybe that's for some people, but it sure as sh*t isn't for me. The DZ is not an endgame, it's a sideline. What a shame, it had promise. I can't believe people are still bothering with this mess. So when I get a group of friends together who are excited to play these games, we start out strong and after a week they end up leagues ahead of me because I'm either working or studying while they want to play. Thankfully, I got The Division for free from a video card purchase. As a lone player with no group, it's very boring and doesn't really hold itself up. I lost interest quickly and didn't really have motivation to go back. I'm just wondering what the people who are still playing it think. I mean, has it had any interesting updates or something...? I no longer have the game. So I don't know how it's like now. But people said the game difficulty scales better with the number of player in party and you don't need to go to Dark Zone since light zone enemy, boss, and drops also scale up. Also tried Search and Destroy, boy its raining top end items. Im playing tier 4 level and my gear score has gone down to 225, was 240. Drops are happening mid mission, this game feels totally new and very rewarding now. AI has changed, but stiil tough in top tier. Definitely recommend any players who still have the game to give it a go. Fantastic that you dont feel the need to go to the Dark Zone for high end stuff anymore,as it's Troll central for solo players. I was in the dark zone today with two of my friends, and this dude all alone by himself decides to come up and hijack our extraction. WTF was he thinking? I played on and off for about six weeks since release day and pretty much haven't touched it since then, mainly because I couldn't get my score high enough to be worth my salt in excursions; and I'm not 100% against PVP, I just prefer single player...and spent most of my time in DZ getting shot to shinola. TL:DR is the game now easier those who suck (such as myself) without nerfing and ruining the experience for the better players? No need for Dark Zone, play the game PVE and you will rank up and get great drops, in line with your level. Very easy to level up and you can buy top line weapons now, although they are expensive. Free roam has come alive with top line enemies as DZ, and dropping Yellow and Green gear.... From the feedback I read so far, the game scales well to you, whether you solo or teamed up. Meanwhile, those with top gears still can beat each other up in the DZ or do Challenging, which if I'm not wrong, I read that it's now equal to previous version's Heroic. They always have new toys of destruction. While JTF are f*cking derp, while The Division agents are fighting among themselves. It's basically hopeless. What is scary is this is how a event like this would go down, Even in Real life, The real The Division agents are likely to go rogue if the backing force (a real JTF) was as big of a f*cking derp as they are in game. Dark Winter showed just how bad things were with out "The Division" it could be worse if events start to play out in the way did in-game. However I'm sure that Directive 51 would also go out in the event of a Nuclear attack on a major city. However a mass scale Bio attack would play out in two ways, Like Dark Winter did (complete failure of all the systems in place to prevent this) or the Tom Clancy way (basically what has happened in game so far). Either way we're f*cked if this happens. Edit: Also my dad was part of the Dark Winter wargame. Even he thinks that it would play out in the two ways listed above if it happened. I haven't read any article about DZ having two types of mode. But yes, from what I read, people no need to go to DZ, because light zone and other modes can be farmed right now.
