CrysisAverted
Considering the crap Ubisoft pulled with Watchdoges, I hope they take as much time as they need to ensure we get the game we saw...even if it takes another gen of consoles...
Flachbau
The Crew didn't turn out to be so great either from what people tell me.. that was delayed several times. We'll see.
SimsDaniel916
What irritates me is when a developer delays a game then gamers go oh, "GOOD, I'm glad they're taking their time!" Well, what ever happened to developers setting themselves and the public with realistic release dates so this crap doesn't happen? Wastelander (Suzuki)
Considering the crap Ubisoft pulled with Watchdoges, I hope they take as much time as they need to ensure we get the game we saw...even if it takes another gen of consoles... It might turn out great, it's being made with the help of Red Storm Entertainment, the people who made the first handful of Rainbow Six games including the great Rainbow Six 3 Raven Shield. So I have high hopes based of Red Storm's track record being one of the best in making Tom Clancy games.
esmittystud101
At first I was really pumped for this, but now, not so much. Seems like every time I hear "Tom Clancy" I'm thinking of Rainbow Six Siege and that kick a** trailer they had, plus they have a 10-13-15 release date in NA and EU. Who knows when The Divison is going to hit. Plus once I really thought about it, why would Ubisoft release two Tom Clancy games even remotly close to each other? That would be a dumb move on there part. Any business owner will tell you that they don't like to no make all its money at once, but spread out. If not, Uncle Sam might nail you harder. Its just funny they annouce a delay for The Division and less than a week later the announce Rainbow Six Siege's release date. This is just a guess, I can't see Ubisoft releasing two Tom Clancy games even remotly close together. No one wants to hear it, but I see a holiday of 2016 release for this game. You could get it over the summer of 2016, but I can't see it happening. I just think of it in money terms. If I'm a filthy old rich bast*rd and I see a huge truck load of money pulling in my driveway, I walk up to the driver and he tells me "hey I got another one coming soon" I tell him "its going to take me a year to count what you have in your truck, plus I don't want Uncle Sam nailing me, tell him to come back in a year when I'm ready". You gotta spread out that love. Edited May 15, 2015 by esmittystud101

bloatedsack
I hate that ingame chat whenever they show off the game. They take it too far, considering if it was real life gamers it'd be all dick and fart jokes, but they're trying to highlight that it's built around fully cooperative teams who need to work together. In other words, the anti-CoD formula. The downside is that few will play it that way and it'll end up being 64 (or whatever) guys running around in a circle trying to no scope. _Tacts
Anyone notice they've seemed to have completely redesigned the police vehicles? In the E3 2013 game play video they were replicas of actual NYPD vehicles: Now in the latest trailer they bear zero resemblance to NYPD police cars. Looks to be the same case for the ambulance, Disappointing, as it took away the feel of being in NYC like in the first trailer. Flachbau
As much as I am excited for The Division, I am a bit worried that the other Tom Clancy games will not sell. A new game was revealed tonight, and also Rainbow Six: Siege releases later this year.. The series is too good for it to be churned out like this. FullMetal
Although I have been anticipating and hyping The Division for some time... I'm getting SICK of these overly scripted gameplay they're showing. Stop fooling around Ubisoft. Get your sh*t straight. Show us PROPER gameplay and/or footage not something either completely CGI and NOT representative for the final product or NOT something that's overly scriptedd. Corndawg93
I'm not sure how to feel about the game, because I'm still don't know whether it's MP grindy Destiny type of crap or it's got a fully fledged story attach, Because if it exactly a 3rd person Destiny, then I won't touch this with a 50 foot pole
Durden
The ability to betray your division group is a dangerous feature. I can think of a couple friends right now that would definitely turn on me & loot my sh*t. Hell, while playing realistic co-op games with my cousin, after a while he'll get bored and blast me with an RPG just to have a laugh. Definitely not playing with him. NYC PATROL
I can't lie. I did lose a bit of interest for this game, especially after the wildlands trailer. And because it feels like its release just keeps dragging. Still will be picking it up tho. (Also whose bright idea was it to announce wildlands before the division is even released?) All over the internet I see people screaming downgrade. I honestly don't see anything drastic. I think it looks just as good as it always did. Add to the fact people are looking at compressed youtube videos. Here is a clearer stream via gamersyde: http://www.gamersyde.com/hqstream_tom_clancy_s_the_division_e3_commented_walkthrough-34944_en.html @ Tacts_21 Isn't the division supposed to take place a bit in the future? Maybe someone could fact check me on that. If so, that could explain why the police cars look different. They are trying to give their own impression of what they might look like then. MyName'sJeff
I'm not sure if it's just the quality of the video, but it really looks like it's been downgraded quite a bit. Can't ever trust Ubisoft ever again with this bollocks. Game looks sweet, but who knows what the end product will be like.
