When I think of the empire I tend to think more "uniformity", not all these diverse types of people that would normally be withheld behind the helmet and white storm trooper armor. Some of various species skins are pretty cool, but those are only available around level 50 or so.

 

The "interaction" unlockables or whatever they're called just seem completely pointless and gimmicky.

yeah, uniformity, you nailed it. And yeah im level 39 now i think so ill unlock the scout trooper and then. actually i was gonna say it was pointless but i think there are occasions when you see a higher ranked player.. which can then make you overthink for a split second and thus give them that slight advantage.

 

 

seeing as your new to game as well mate then just a couple things i picked up, you can upgrade cards etc, i literally only found that out recently..also the scout trait seems the most useful but bounty killer has its upside too..might be a while before you can unlock tho im not sure

 

 

and sometimes when playing supremacy your opponent might drop a blaster gun next to the uplink which f*cks u up when u try press the uplink as the same button operates the turret

 

anyone have any idea who the next unlockable 'heroes' will be. chewie surely, after that im not sure. lando maybe? how bout ackbar

Nice update actually. I like how they can change the lighting on a map and change the feel, it looks like they can do it for all maps maybe.

 

Rebalancing the weapons after the last big nerf brings a load back into play.

 

A-wing has taken a massive debuff. Damn right too, yes i envied the guys raining hell from the skies but they were spoiling the ground level battling.

btw, complete novice type question, but how do you slow down the a wing ..that yellow bar..i still cant work it out..help

Something like that. You'll know when you're going slower when the camera zooms in on you.

Ok, I'm thinking I'm going to reinstall Battlefront and have another look and hope I can do a bit better in the ground game modes and not end up getting spawn killed

so much but there are some things about controls that bother me and I think it's the way I play with the controller so I need to ask a couple of questions.

 

Anyway to move accelerate/slow down from the left stick to the right stick, I am so used to playing Gran Turismo series that I find myself constantly with no speed

and thus a sitting duck.

 

Same is true of ground modes, can movement be done with right stick and aiming with the left as I think this would solve a lot of my problems, I know it's probably

in the instructions somewhere but hell if I can find it.

I'd have to be in the game to know, but most games have a left-handed or "southpaw" control layout that swap the sticks and triggers around. Are you left handed?

Right handed normally so I'm struggling to play with the default or left option, I'll have a look at Southpaw and see if that does what I want

With Jabba's Palace map coming it would be kinda sick to have Gaemorrhean guards to worry about as well as the opposition. Remember BF2 they one shotted you and came out of nowhere?

Well I had a look at the Southpaw control config yesterday and it works for Fighter Squadron but makes the rest of the game feel wrong when

doing ground based modes so I had to revert the control for that back to default so I can play both sides ground battles and air battles.

 

Have to say though things seemed quite fair play yesterday, the fighter squadron battles seem much more evenly matched and I didn't have the

same level of grief I had become used to when fighting in the Tie-fighter, hell I got 20 kills in it yesterday on players which is the most I've had

as normally use the Interceptor.

 

Overall I actually though the game seems balanced at long last, I wasn't the immediate victim of spawn killing that I've been finding previously

but I am still seem US with the ground based weapons and not able to cope with the range/rapid rate of fire which I really cannot get my

head round and I like the new level though it's quite difficult to see what's going on in the dim light winter clothing.

 

Last night also told me I need to practice - a lot - when the leading Rebel on Walker Assault got 100 kills - 0 deaths, I wish I knew how not

to die in Battlefront but I just can't fathom what's wrong with my playing, I don't think I'm doing anything wrong it just seems everyone is

better than me or able to handle the pace better.

I'm a bit surprised and slightly disapproving about the new upcoming heroe and villain.

 

Greedo? Okay, I guess, but I would have gone with one of the other bounty hunters from Empire Strikes Back, like Dengar or that IG-88 droid.

 

And Nien Nunb? You've got to be kidding? He looks goofier than the baby Ewok and all he does is sit in the Millenium Falcon for a few shots talking gibberish! What about Lando Calrissian? He'd have been a much better choice.

They're adding Lando for the Bespin, Cloud City Map. It's much more fitting IMO. Lando, Luke and Leia fighting Vader, Boba and Dengar or Bossk would be cool for the Bespin map too.

I get the reasoning behind choosing those two. Greedo is more closely connected to Jabba than the ESB bounty hunters and Numb is a Sullustan, but it still doesn't make the choice look less like a joke in the greater context.

 

What about Chewbacca for the palace and, I don't know, some better bounty hunter for Sullust? Or an Inquisitor? Veers flying around in hoverchair?

What Hero V Villain Characters should be for future maps:

 

Death Star: Han, Luke and Obi - Wan VS Vader, The Emperor and Boba Fett.

Bespin: Lando, Luke and Leia fighting Vader, Boba and Dengar/Bossk

A Future Tatooine Map: Luke, Obi - Wan and Han VS Vader, Boba and The Emperor.

 

I also wish multiplayer missions would be added, such as the Battle Of Yavin, Obi - Wan VS Vader while Luke, Han and Leia are stuck in the trash compactor, Luke VS Vader VS The Emperor in the Second Death Star.

 

Don't even get me started on the Clone Wars and Force Awakens maps that should've been added a long time ago.

no we are not able to play those characters are locked in heroes vs villians mode and I didn't see those heroes in other maps also we don't have the outer rim maps either.

Well I have to say I'm pretty impressed with how well this game runs. Everything just clicks well. It looks amazing g as well. I'm really having fun in the mode Extraction that you can access in the DLC The Outer Rim. 40 kills first game and I joined after the matched started.

 

Since we're getting dlc into 2017, I guess I'll be spending some time with it for a good while. Flying is also very easy for me which alot of games I struggle with at times. It runs so good though. I'm impressed with Dice and how well they made the game look.

This game runs so good. I'm really impressed at times at how everything does. The matches are always alot of fun and glad I finally found a shooter that fits me. Don't get me wrong I've had Black Ops 3 since launch and I've played alot of zombies but the mp was getting that same feeling I get every year with CoD, just bored in a way. Nothing wrong with BO3, but I think I'm just growing out of the series finally and until they go back in time, or Treyarch comes out with a next installment, I'm not buying CoD anymore. I'd had my feel from Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer for that matter.

 

But I hope one day they impliment Extraction mode for all the maps. I know that by them keeping it just DLC maps only for now it may sell more DLC for them. But nine times out of ten the players don't know about the mode coming with the DLC to begin with so I don't see it being a huge selling point for the season pass of just the DLC by itself.

 

In Extraction you basically have to get a cargo bin to a location just once. But depending on which side your on, your either trying to get the cargo bin to the extraction point or your trying to prevent it from getting there. So all the players are flocked to this one location which makes it really easy for kills. I mean its nothing to have four to five enemies on screen at once to try and take out. Really enjoyable to say the least. I'm not really into Walder Assult as much, but I only played it once maybe. Heroes game modes can be fun to change things up a bit.

You sure? I was playing H v V and all the characters, including the new ones, were available.

That was because the people using those characters had bought the season pass. When it was locked gamers who didn't buy the season pass didn't have access to the new stages and extraction mode.

I love the whole hero take they took on the game. It is really cool walking around as Darth Vader. I just want there to be chat among us. So I can talk like Darth Vader as I'm taking enemies out. LOL. Like chat where the other team can hear as well. I think that a 16 player game should be able to handle the load, I could see them not being able to do 40 man chat though. Understandble for that many.

not for me yeah sure there were gamers using nien numb and greedo because they had the season pass. but for me I could only use the original heroes at that time. greedo and nien numb was locked for me in that menu. also I hate to say it but I caved in and bought the season pass. it was the morning of april 5th and the dlc was no were to be found at the playstation store. I thought to myself those guys at ea and dice aren't kidding about this season pass. was there dlc available? I don't trust ea and dice.
