GTAaLEX117
Stats - haven't we had them already in San Andreas? Finding protagonists doing things when you don't control them sounds great, but the truth is, it's going to get old very fast. I just can't find it any exciting that I'll be able to see that one of my protagonists is playing golf, and the other one is driving a car. Nothing much spectacular, if you imagine you will see this every time you'll switch through the characters. Come on people, give me something more than the discoverable ocean floor and obeying the road rules. Yep, but this time some stats will be unique to certain characters, like Franklin always being better at driving, etc. Honestly it's still a heck of a lot better than finding the protagonist in bed, sleeping every single time. Besides, the previewers mentioned some really interesting situations. Depending on how many unique situations they've made, it could certainly spice up the game's replay value. More? More than a completely new engine that looks pretty darn good? More than a map bigger than any R* game before it, with the biggest amount and variety of vehicles and weapons? More varied economy system? Revamped wanted system? Explorable ocean floor? Switchable protagonists? Unique abilities? Mission planning? Bringing back features from previous games that people liked (car customization, stats, gun customization, purchasing property, replaying missions)? Add to that the checkpoint system, wildlife, big variety of side missions, bigger pedestrian diversity, improved AI...basically what do you want more? I mean, trolling would be the only logical explanation why somebody would visit the forum of a game they dislike, and tell people to get over said game. Oh but no! I am not trolling. It's just that I've gone insane due to the fanboyism. (I am seriously not f*cking trolling).. I used to be so hyped for GTA V, even started raising money to buy a PS3 for GTA V, but after seeing R* do Day-1 DLCs that turned it off for me for good. And I just enjoy sometimes reading the fanboyism... Even though it makes me go crazy... Oh lord, I can't wait for the GTA series to fall. Edit: Reported? LOL... Reported for what? GTAfan786
MGS is a good game, but it's a game that has a linear story and they just copied the open world from RDR. Simple. JESUS CHRIST WHAT THE f*ck?! Every open-world game is copying Rockstar and their sh*tty games, oh my God... I don't even know what to say. I respect you GTAfan768 but that statement is f*cking retarded. Every game out there is copying Rockstar, yeah, right, because III was the first 3d open-world game and it brought innovation to gaming and hurr durr every other game sucks. GTA fans disgust me. I will keep browsing this forums because of the other sections, but visiting this forum will become a rarer thing. Just reading sh*t like that posted makes me go mad that you people are nothing but a bunch of sheep that are buying sh*t from rockstar if they threw it for you. (Not everyone of course) Get over yourselves and get over GTA, it's getting old. Nothing innovative in it. I think you're a retard. If you read my previous post, i've already clarified it as an intended joke just to piss you MGS fanboys off. I know for a fact that you are just mad at R* for announcing a SE/CE edition that you didn't want to buy. This is a business son. They can't make anymore episodes DLC's because it takes too much TIME and MONEY which shouldn't be a problem anymore, but the time is too long. The fact is MGS has nothing on GTA V, nothing. Improved visuals are the natural progression of the technological advancement, and they won't by itself make the game better - they'll get old fast, especially when the next-gens are coming up. And you SHOULDN'T be mad at Rockstar because when on earth did they announced DAY 1 DLC's? They are NOT doing that. Also, if there is DLC's, it's going to be better than the usual one's, but not like episodes that's all. Look at MP3 and RDR, they did the same thing with them and it was clearly successful. I think I've already named quite a lot of innovative features (that weren't implemented in the past games, innovating features that are also completely new to the market are kind of hard to do these days). I personally want replayability. Pretty much everything I've listed give the game a lot more replay value than the previous games, and that's exactly what I wanted to see. If GTA IV had more features and more replayability, I'd still play it for 2-3 more years, even with next gen coming out.

If the CE content is not day-1 DLC then what is it? $5 tops for these features LATER ON released as DLC is more than enough. They call this sh*t exclusive to CE and then later on release as DLC, where is the exclusivity? Also, last I checked, a CE should have physical stuff that indeed count as COLLECTOR'S EDITION, not some temporary digital features that are temporarily collective. AceHigh11
I want something that's unpredictable and completely new. Did you predict there would be 3 protagonists in GTA V? Or the underwater world? These two things are new. The fact that you don't see anything interesting in the possible dynamic of the 3 main characters, is your problem. At least wait until you get the game before you judge that system already. And if you're not that satisfied with how GTA V is looking so far, why do you have it pre-ordered? You can't not be excited anymore for GTA V and say you will still get it on day one.

jpalmer2004
The only game besides battlefield 3 i come home to play right now is GTA IV on PC. Okay, I'm also playing the last of us. (amazing isn't the right word!) How many games sustain their playable value for 6 years? I won't be playing MGSV in 2019 or probably even bf4. There is a chance i'll still be playing GTAV. When Rockstar will release this as separate DLC, then we will be able to talk about it. 2. This is not a big deal. Bonus outfits, tattoos and more Custom characters for Grand Theft Auto Online Special Ability Boost Unique vehicles and garage property Additional weapons There will be A LOT of all this in the game. GTA V will be a HUGE game with A LOT of content. This is not a big deal if they'll add a couple of vehicles or weapons to Collector's edition. 3. Say thanks to such corporations like EA who invents, spreads and actively uses such techniques. Rockstar have to follow certain rules, which are used in the gaming industry. But I still think that if the games became stale and lacked innovation, people wouldn't have bought them, they wouldn't be nearly as popular as they were today. I have a hard time believing that everybody is just a mindless consumer that buys everything that's overhyped by the media.
