Oh come on. If it had said 'City of Los Santos Flight School' you would have said that the fact it specified 'Los Santos' rather than just San Andreas points towards there being more cities.

Maybe, but others here would. Either way it's no different to the plates on cars saying San Andreas, it's because Los Santos is IN San Andreas, which you already know. To think it means more cities is just wishful thinking for me.

In truth, it's a bit different from the plates (that they are an hint themselves).

If I was the videogame producer, in a case of a GTA with Los Santos only and its countryside, I would choose as name "Los Santos Flight School", but if it takes places in the whole San Andreas, then the choice would have been "San Andreas Flight School".

Why? Because if the GTA users read "Los Santos Flight School", they expect to fly on Los Santos (and its countryside), but if they read "San Andreas Flight School", they would expect to fly on San Andreas, not only Los Santos area.

Considering that Rockstar always gives much attention to details, it would be an inconsistency.

In addition, those hands in praying position that seem to say "Please, make that there is the the whole state of San Andreas", are maybe the biggest hint of that image.

Rockstar keeps on going on two ways at the same time: one ways where there are official declarations which say that there is only Los Santos and another way where we can several hints inside screenshots, trailer and old declarations which make think that multiple cities are a real possibility.

Darth Mike I don't think you gave any reason why it IS any different. But that aside, I think by calling it San Andreas flight school, they're trying to make it sound as if Los Santos and Blaine County are part of a way bigger world in order to immerse the player.

 

But agent00729, you're providing the perfect example for what I said at first. It's not just you, but a lot of the people here twist anything and everything in order to make it sound like Rockstar are hinting at something. Saying "the official statements say that the game takes place in los santos and Blaine county, but that doesn't mean there aren't other counties too." sounds ridiculous. It means the game takes place in Los Santos and Blaine County, like they said. But then even if Rockstar went ahead and said "It takes place in the state of San Andreas" you would have gone ahead and said that it means the game includes Las Venturas and San Fierro too. Some things are just meant to be taken at face value.

 

I'll reiterate, I'm not saying there is absolutely no possibility of a large landmass somewhere that the mappers haven't found, and I'd absolutely love it if there were another city in the game, but some of these things are really grasping

Okay, I re-examined the tramway screenshot. It seems to go down west of Paleto Bay. It seems it all does line up with the skydive screencap (ridges, dirt road, the cables, etc). I have no doubt it is it in fact the same "shed". Maybe Pala Springs is to the south west of Paleto Bay? There could still be some room there.

 

 

In the background there could still be room for another small town before you are in Paleto Bay.

 

Cape Catfish is the cape at the lighthouse right? There is a house west of the lighthouse.

It's all about climate. SoCal has a subtropical climate, so it NEVER snows here, except in the high elevations. Places like Antelope Valley (Palmdale, Lancaster), which is the high desert, get snow every few years. But in SoCal, the ocean temps actually prevent cold air masses from forming snow over the lower elevations.

That is a wiki and it could be highly inaccurate, considering it is NOT based on the BAWSAQ footage at all. That site simply lists all of the business names they have seen and then assume all businesses must be featured on the BAWSAQ even though there is no evidence for it. The only "evidence" is the following screencap:
