( in game of course ) While watching extreme weather effects ( other topic ) which i liked but i didn't had the proper english knowledge to make this topic D: , i'll try now to point out that it would be a "kewl" effect to have some kind of diseases at countryside or countryard or how ever it is called , so we would have the need to buy a specific suit to reach some areas ( old abandomed buildings deep in jungle (!?) which have a hidden treasure....as example). Also....That's not quite related with "diseases" but some weapons ( except tear grenades ) to cause some physical difficulties such as decreasing health over time etc....These effects , some weapons like chemical grenades or something , could cause them. Some chemical weapons would be cool i believe.Maybe a tank that will throw a gas that forcing people to slow death or something. A explosive material which after it's explosion , the specific area will be infected for a while etc...? While we will have the proper equipement to live in there for a while , we will be able to rob the area till police , with proper as well suits - arrive. And back again to the diseases , like malaria at some lakes(!?) at which u'll risk to start fishing without know that it's infected etc... Would it be a interesting effect? D: Would be very interesting i'd say.I always liked variety to weapons and the only things that are available ( as always in most games ) is bullets , fire and "boom". If at LEAST that "boom" was destroying a little the enviroment would be good , but it doesn't at all. Throw at any game ( not red faction D: ) as much explosives you want. Anyway , this is exactly the reason ( mostly ) that i thought about some chemical weapons or/and diseases. Diseases in real life wasn't bad enough? Why? Just why? This is not a simulator. Not even close. If it was, we'd have to sit in the hospital for a week or even get a game over every time we died. We would already have to eat, sleep, get gas, and follow traffic laws. But there's a good reason rockstar removed hunger for GTA IV. They realized it's bullsh*t. It didn't add anything but a timed chore. What the f*ck is fun about popping pills? I don't care that it's realistic. I'm wondering what is fun, charming, pleasurable, or enjoyable about it. And screw "Immersion" as a reason. If I have to do all the same f*cking chores in the game that I have to do in real life, then for me there's no point in being immersed. There's no point in even playing the game. I can just do chores in real life. But I'm playing a game. To escape the chores. To escape the tedium. To escape the outright dreariness. To escape the bland, forgettable, and boring. Putting all that sh*t in a game anyways just makes playing it pointless to me. Even if it is immersive.
