You can place a bike on the Bobcat, yay!! But motorcycles too? And the quad... now that'd be super cool.

Well that would explain why the bobcat has a longer bed!

There's no link or source to any russian preview. And considering all the russian sites/magazines saw the exact same demo, it's strange that none of the previews mentioned these things when they came out.

You no longer gather ammo just by passing over it. Now you have to press a button.

not liking this 1 ,should be left alone BUT the option to grab them while in the car by pressing a button. insted of jumpin out to collect. devil.gif

Because in MP, it makes it too easy for people to kill you in ANY game mode. Don't be lazy biggrin.gif

· You no longer gather ammo just by passing over it. Now you have to press a button. Doesn't seem that bad. Gives an opportunity for a "lean down and grab the gun" animation, rather than magically being added to your stock.

· KWKR is the first confirmed radio. Ok.

· A HEALTH remix of a The xx song was played in said station. Good.

· Crews can schedule their missions though Rockstar Social Club. Don't really know how that would work.

· Week days return and will affect gameplay. Nice!

· Each radio will comment on the aftermath of the missions, like SA and VCS. Very good.

· You can place a bike in the Bobcat. Cool!

· It's impossible to shoot friends. That makes sense.

· Line of sight system works as perfectly as a stealth game. What's that? Well, it's perfect, so I guess it's good.

 

I hope that's all true.

Sounds a lot more like a wishlist than a list of confirmed features.

Like others have stated, I'm sure some of these 'features' have been posted before..

 

1. This information is pulled from a forum.

2. There is no original source to this 'Russian Article'

3. No other Russian previews have mentioned any of this info.

4. Some statements are clearly wrong. (we know of certain radio stations & songs in the game already)

 

Until a moderator confirms this with the original source, I'm staying open minded.

Some of these recent "news bits" from eastern Europe certainly smell false. Where exactly is it all coming from anyway? ...And don't worry, you don't have to press a button to collect ammo. Stupidest thing ever. Or maybe I'm wrong and R* really is trying to kill the fun from this game... wink.gif

If this was in the game, how the f*ck would this kill the fun? All you lazy bastards have to do is literally stand next to the ammo, press the button and you are sorted. It also helps for Multiplayer, because people on EVERY mode will just easily collect the guns/ammo and shoot you. This makes it a little more challenging.

 

Not that It's confirmed to be in the game or anything.

I just hope we get mission failed cutscenes/calls like IV. It was a step back in RDR, however the "You can't shoot friends" thing makes me think it won't be like that. Anyway, this sucks, I liked shooting friends.

Not shooting friends was silly in RDR, because you could still throw a stick of dynamite or Molotov next to them. I'd rather it's like IV, where your bullets cause minimal damage to friends. It's what should happen if you stand there & unload an entire clip into them, should they turn on you? This would effectively fail a mission, but what about freeroam?

 

I don't like freedom being taken away from me. Even freedom to f*ck up, or deliberately go against what I'm supposed to be doing. I want total freedom & these freeform missions Leslie was talking about.

 

 

If this was in the game, how the f*ck would this kill the fun? All you lazy bastards have to do is literally stand next to the ammo, press the button and you are sorted. It also helps for Multiplayer, because people on EVERY mode will just easily collect the guns/ammo and shoot you. This makes it a little more challenging.

 

Anyone who's played MP3 knows how smooth picking up weapons can be. Considering the gunplay & aiming is now more like a RDR/MP3 hybrid, it should be pretty much the same. You can even pick up a gun while running, he rolls forward & you can aim immediately after completing the roll. It's all very fluid & cinematic looking.

Why? It's just unneeded extra time. Unless people want to leave spare ammo around just to increase challenge. I don't know.

 

As long as it doesn't play some long ass animation where you're completely vulnerable to enemy fire, I guess I'm okay with it.

It's probably like Dead Space where you have to press X to pick it up.

First of all, this whole thing seems made up. Even though some of the things make sense as it seems like logical assumptions based on what we know (we know there's LOS system so they just say it works perfect), I don't believe this is credible at all.

 

And to explain LINE OF SIGHT as many seem confused. An example: if you run behind a corner and had a cop chasing you, they no longer see you. They will run to the last place they saw you and if they see you again, give chase. BUT, if you manage to escape into another alleyway BEFORE that cop came to the previous corner, he didn't SEE you run into the alleyway and won't know you're there.. unlike previous GTA's where cops always knew where you are as long as you had active stars or stayed in the circle in IV. This time you can stay in the circle, but if you're hidden the stars will deactivate, while in IV they would remain active as long as you're in the circle.

 

So basically, the cops only know what they see. This will certainly be active in missions as well s any good heist requires good stealth AI that employs line of sight.

All the previews praised the dynamic shooting/cover system.

They want to make GTA V even more "realistik!" than IV. What next - crime simulator? Srsly, GTA is a arcade game, not some popamole semi-simulator sh*t.

wow, amazing, like games from 1998 didn't have that.

Stop being so negative about everything, you look pathetic.

I'm sorry but this feature is long overdue and about as advanced as the fish AI of CoD Ghosts, it's good that it's finally here for real though, GTA IV kind of had it but not really, cops would eventually inexplicably rush straight to where you were hiding.

 

Also, there is still no real source for all this stuff, it's supposedly from a non-english preview, but we still haven't been linked to said preview yet.
