I just hope we get mission failed cutscenes/calls like IV. It was a step back in RDR, however the "You can't shoot friends" thing makes me think it won't be like that. Anyway, this sucks, I liked shooting friends.

Uh, Nightride FM and Los Santos Rock Radio were the first revealed radio stations.

· You no longer gather ammo just by passing over it. Now you have to press a button.

· Week days return and will affect gameplay.

· Each radio will comment on the aftermath of the missions, like SA and VCS.

· You can place a bike in the Bobcat.

· Line of sight system works as perfectly as a stealth game.

Really like this, especially the line of sight system. It should be very fun to hide from the cops and not have them magically find you every time. Imagine you are hiding under a bridge at night as police choppers swoop overhead with their spotlights searching for you, and you hide behind some dumpsters in the alley as hordes of police officers run past looking for you. That could make for some pretty tense and exciting moments if it works like it should.

Not being able to shoot your friend makes sense. Sometimes in IV, you could toggle it on or off in MP settings and if you shot your own friends, it's pretty piss taking seeing the point is to shoot the f*cking opponents.

What exactly does "Week days return and will affect gameplay." mean?

What exactly does "Week days return and will affect gameplay." mean?

Could mean that starting some missions would depend which day you are going to the mission giver.

This is fake though... no official source.

On Sunday most stores will be closed, Friday the nightlife will be better and so on. Possibly explains the calendar app. All this info sounds interesting.

Sorry, but is the gameplay info confirmed to be legit?

No, because everything you see is FAKE.

Lol.

You can place a bike on the Bobcat, yay!! But motorcycles too? And the quad... now that'd be super cool.

We already knew you could plan stuff on your calendar app, so weekdays shouldn't come as a surprise to people who are following closely. But a lot of these other gameplay features sound great and I welcome them all.

You have to press a button to pick up ammo now? What the f*ck.

ya nigga aint got time for dat when im f*ckin running through a building during a mission. I don't to have to shoot a guy, walk over to him, wait until the pop up appears to collect ammo, and then continue my mission. The whole running over the weapon to collect ammo idea was better.

Pressing a button to get ammo and picking it up from the ground would be realistic. If it's like IV + having to press a button it would be dumb.

Good to hear that we can place bikes on the Bobcat.

They want to make GTA V even more "realistik!" than IV. What next - crime simulator? Srsly, GTA is a arcade game, not some popamole semi-simulator sh*t.

What the f*ck are you doing, dudes?!

You'd rather have a game that is targeted at spoiled 10 year olds spewing obscene words out of their posteriors?

You'd rather have a game full of ludicrous folly?

You'd rather have Saints Row?

GET OUT!.

it means cops can't see you through solid objects

wow, amazing, like games from 1998 didn't have that.

Stop being so negative about everything, you look pathetic.

Why? It's just unneeded extra time. Unless people want to leave spare ammo around just to increase challenge. I don't know.

As long as it doesn't play some long ass animation where you're completely vulnerable to enemy fire, I guess I'm okay with it.

Exactly. Hell they where in San Andreas and IV as well.

And that Radio commenting on the aftermath of missions thing was in IV and others besides the SA and VCS they mentioned. Small mistake I guess.

I'm also hoping that if true that ammo thing is just to pick up weapons, picking up the ammo just well, dosen't sound needed at all. Neither is the weapons when it boils down to it, but I'd be fine with that as I do like the feeling of MP3 dodge rolling into picking up a gun. Hell MP3 a full blown shooter that had some realistic mechanics to it didn't even have you picking up the Ammo.

Anyhow intresting info but untill I see a better source, besides a forum post, I'll take it with a grain of salt nothing too outragous was posted which is the only reason I'm even semi-considering this info. That's just me though.

Very happy for this! Cops in IV seemed to always know where you were, even if hiding in some random building on another island

Not really, we can still hide from the cops, use tight alleys and covers, if the wanted level doesnt light up that means they can see you, if it only greyed out, we have a chance to escape

Thank f*cking god for that ammo option. its stupid that im shooting enemies with lets say a pump shotgun and if i walk over AK 47 ammo, the gun in my hand automatically changes to the AK 47. that was annoying, especially if you were playing a DM.

If i recalled you wouldn't pick up an assault rifle if you walked over the gun/ammo in IV you would just receive the ammo for the gun and it wouldn't change the gun that you were shooting with. If you pressed a button you could pick up a gun if it was different from the type you had. Example if you had a AK and there was a carbine rifle laying around you could pick it up if not the ammo from the carbine would just get added to the gun you already had equipped.

First of all, nice MGS1 reference lol.gif

Secondly, every GTA since III had this, but it was impossible to stay in a spot to hide. They wouldn't see you, but eventually find you. What they mean by this is that in V we can actually hide in the search area until they stop searching, while before the only option was to get out of their LoS and escape.

It depends on the gun you are holding and the gun on the ground. the game mechanics automatically decides for you which gun is better. stupid logic. i dont want the game to think for me. i can think for myself.
