But yes, the graphical improvement is minor, so minor it's borderline insignificant. Not something worth waiting extended periods of time mind you.

Vanilla graphics or mods?

http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/1985/4543535353.jpg

Well duh, vanilla, when you take mods into account, sh*t gets pretty insane.

Edit: on the spectrum, console levels of graphics resides somewhere between medium and high settings on a high end PC.

I play IV in my X360 in 1080p, and I get a crystal clear image, comparable to my friends Alienware. I also don't understand these comparison photos, thy have the console version looking like something out of the 80's and the PC version looks like what's on my TV.

I'm not bashing PC, but sh*t you guys, get real.

You play at 720p up scaled to 1080p. Your tv tries to make the image better but change it to 720p you will hardly notice the difference. whereas the PC can render the game natively at a high resolution not none of this upscaling. I was playing on GTA IV on the PC the other day and then put BOGT on the PC sly.gif . Like I said you are either blind or telling porkys.

Console settings are quite a lot below medium with the view distance, detail distance (you know that Vaseline blurry mess you see when you look slightly in the distance?) and vehicle density apart from a few setting that are medium like textures.

1080p is 1080p, you're just a bit shocked this 8 year old brick you keep hating on can handle it. My tv supports 1080p and my Xbox can run 1080p, that is what I play at, and I get a very nice looking game in the process.

That's true. I compared engine detail from X360 to PC. The detail was the same as medium texture quality setting on PC.

Actually, he is correct. Consoles don't support 1080p natively, not with ALL games at least. Uncharted 2 and 3, Killzone 2 and 3, GT5 and a few other games actually can play in 1080p. The rest of the games can be up-scaled.

Put a DVD in your 360 and boom you now have 1080p don't you fella? Why bother with Blu-rays now eh. You have full HD viewing pleasure with your DVD suicidal.gif Get the point? Didn't think so.

Please tell me one 1080p game on the 360? THERE IS NONE. GTA IV is 1280-720 on the 360 and even less than that on the PS3, 1280-620 or something. The PS3 has GT5, and Metal Gear Solid 4 and possibly another couple that render natively at 1080p thus giving you full HD.

Whether my console can run 1080p or not, then would someone like to explain to me why it looks like a High settings PC Game?

I love my PS3 and probably play it more than my PC, it's just more correcting the stupidity what has been out in force. None of my opinions are biased, just based on fact. People don't always like to hear the truth though.

That's true. The truth does hurt. There is no doubt that a high end PC has better graphics than a console can ever dream of and to dispute that is simply retarded.

Not really possible been as consoles don't have better graphics cards than high end PCs. Still whatever helps you sleep at night buddy. I'll be buying this game for the PS3 and don't care for the PC port but even I know PCs are better than consoles in every way. The only thing is consoles are more accessible. I'm aware your trolling so I'll leave it at that.

Your gaming setup does not rock. It's just what millions have around the world their 360 connected to a HDTV. Like I say ignorance is bliss and you are happy because you think there's not much improvement to what you have. That's a good thing because if you get the taste for PC gaming it can get pricey.

I remember first seeing GTAIV on the PC and I knew I gots to getit whatsthat.gifcool.gif

My PC and PS3 is connected to my Samsung LED tv and it really is quite a big difference. Same even on my last dated basic LCD tv. The best thing about it putting the graphical improvements to the side for a second is playing at high frames per second. It really feels stuttery the console version after you play on a quality PC.

You kidding me?

PC is beautiful, I would get myself one, but I feel the improvement isn't worth the extra 300-400$ otherwise I would've bought one. Not to mention I can't find any comfortable computer chairs in my area, so it's either play comfortably and cheaply with near high quality or play expensively and uncomfortably with superb quality and tones of freedom.

Unless you can direct to a high quality PC for under 500$ consoles for me.

You can't milk a series if you only make it once every 5 years or so.

I mentioned before in what kind of ways is Rockstar milking out of GTA. Yet you refused to continue further and read my other posts, no worries, I shall post it here once again.

Rockstar doesn't need to make GTA V an annual franchise to milk out of it. They can milk the game once every 5 years if so be it.

They announced the Special and Collector's edition, the collector's edition contains digital stuff, which are "timed-exclusives", and the physical stuff shouldn't cost more than $40. And you give it a price tag of $150?! And in some countries it reaches as high as $300?! Wow!

Anyway, back to my point, Rockstar will persuade people into thinking that it is in fact exclusive, people will desperately want it and will purchase the SE and CE of GTA V, then a few months later after everyone bought it and whatnot, they release either a GOTY or the digital stuff of CE as a DLC for $5-10-15 I don't know how much.

It happened with RDR and MP3 and LA Noire, it will happen with V.

Did anyone get my point of view now?

Your whole argument is flawed. So lets go at this once again. If R* was releasing a GTA every year with CE's at $150-$300 then yes they would be milking the series. However since they don't, then I think waiting for a product for 5 years and spending $150-$300 on it, is well worth the price. Why? Because the product is that good.

See what you don't get is GTA for most fans is a celebratory experience like the World Cup, Olympics, etc. It is something that takes place once every now and then and it is a joyous occasion. So if R* throw some DLC at a premium price I trust it will be better then most of the things that is considered "DLC" these days.

I gave up on trying to explain to someone my point of view, it's like talking to a wall. (No offense meant to anyone), you got your point of views on how milking goes, and I got my own point of view, opinions are not facts most of the time so to say, you can't force me to change my opinion, I can't force you to change your opinion.

Discussion is done.

@DeafMetal: If Ubisoft hated PC gamers they wouldn't make Watch Dogs the lead platform, it is confirmed, go search google I am not bothering to search for a source! icon14.gif, as for DRM, Ubisoft also confirmed they don't use DRM in their new games from now on, also search it.

Yes, PC is the lead platform so that it can be ported to the PS4 and XB1, since they have PC architecture. I'm not sure about 360/PS3 though, they are developing them simultaneously.
