Wait, what? Because I want my graphics to be as good as possible I´m a "graphics whore"? Graphics are a huge part of any game, and I don´t want to enjoy GTA V in 720p at 30fps. I want to experience it in 1080p at 60fps with high res textures and a ton of optional effects that wont be available in the console versions. If you´re fine with the console graphics, then fine, go for it. But don´t go around calling people who want better graphics "graphics whores". Excuse me for appreciating a good gameplay and story and being able to accept that GTA can have graphics that are nowhere near Crysis, Metro or any candy game and still be a better game than all of them. It's one thing for it to have really bad graphics, but IV had good enough graphics that I wouldn't mind playing V with the same level of detail as in IV and would enjoy without ever thinking ''MOM, WHY THEY NO MAKE MORE GRAPHIC''

And why would I be a graphics whore because I choose the version of a game that looks better? Does the better looking version play worse than the uglier version? If GTA V would only be released on console then I would play that and enjoy it very much; but since it most likely be released for PC as well, I don´t see any reason to pick the inferior version.

And I know you never said anything about a new GTA every 1-2 years, but that is what I have been telling people for the last several days. R* need to pick one: 'Milking' with day-1 DLC, or releasing a new GTA every 1-2 years which will deteriorate the quality of the games.

 

Its quite simple. R* need lots of capital to make quality GTAs, but how can they get this capital? By releasing a new GTA every year or so (turning them to sh*t), or by releasing these SE/CE so that people will buy them. They need to do one of these to keep making quality GTAs.

 

So would you rather have an average GTA every 1-2 yrs, or a mind-blowing GTA every few years but with a few exclusive features that end up on the PSN store in a few months? Your post made it clear that you are strongly against the DLC option, so that's why I assumed you wanted a new GTA every 1-2 yrs.

I own a PS3 but I'd always prefer to get my games on my PC. It's like owning a ps3 and ps4 you'd get it for the PS4 wouldn't you for the better graphics etc. wouldn't you? Am I getting through to your simple minded one gaming platform skull?

I'm going to have to get the watered down version on the PS3 and hope that the PC gets a releaee with its better graphics, smoother gameplay and a video editor again plus many other plus points of the PC version.

I know a lot of PC gamers are dicks acting superior but the amount of console only gamers that are hoping the PC release never happens boils down to absolute pure jealousy.

I remember reading somewhere that MP3 was developed side by side with the console versions, yes.

So far, IMO it's by far the most PC optimized game that R* ever released.

I wish they'd do the same with GTA.

 

Pretty much all GTA ports have been weak when it comes to performance.

The only exception being Vice City which was smooth as silk.

 

About LA Noire, I played it on PC and performance was acceptable, definitely better than GTA IV.

Just let the Max Payne 3 team handle it. That game ran smooth as butter, it was PC gaming heaven!

Indeed. I was very happy to see a great performance while maintaining awesome graphics. a huge step up to IV and L.A. Noire for sure. Though it's a linear game and the other two are open world so maybe that was a factor. Anyhow no matter what team is at work on the PC version I'm sure they'll deliver. It seems R* has learned a lot within the last 5 years or so. And now it's all boiling down to this game...V. So I really have no worries about the PC version. I don't think it'll be that much of a hastle to them like it was back then with IV, maybe. I'm very confident in a quality PC release

I own a PS3 but I'd always prefer to get my games on my PC. It's like owning a ps3 and ps4 you'd get it for the PS4 wouldn't you for the better graphics etc. wouldn't you? Am I getting through to your simple minded one gaming platform skull?
