PacketOverload_x64bit
I don't like the original clouds and I wanted to know how to edit it so I can change it to something more realistic. That's a very "not easy," question. You can start looking in these threads: TimecycIV Editing - Look for the Cloud Tutorial http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=474392&st=0 How to unlock Timecycle's and Editing Info (Sorry Pics got delete but info is good) http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?act=ST&...entry1060712727 When doing clouds, the iceconfig.ini or enbseries.ini Clouds controls are important as well. The clouds are "Said to be using a perlin noise function" which creates the clouds. The one from ice looks mostly black and white, like a vortex inwards - I'd upload it for you but my IV files drive is packed away at the moment. brandon236
So I downloaded icenhacner 2.1 and the sky texture looked alot better but I have a huge problem with red sky. The sun and clouds look good but the sky texture is red. How to I get rid of that?
PacketOverload_x64bit
So I downloaded icenhacner 2.1 and the sky texture looked alot better but I have a huge problem with red sky. The sun and clouds look good but the sky texture is red. How to I get rid of that? Don't use Patch 6 or 7. Ugliest patches because ENB doesn't fully support patches 6 and 7. icenhancer is essentially, ENB.
brandon236
But I tried icenhancer on patch 4 and the graphics looked worse than on patch 7.
jpm1
realistic clouds are always ressource demanding whatever the game . gta (like lot of other simulations) have pretty basic clouds . but if you manage to get the good lightning (sky brightness , cloud brightness ..) you can have good results
brandon236
that doesn't answer my question. I like the sky texture that icenahancer has but I don't like red sky. How do I get rid of the red sky and don't downgrade to patch 4 because I will not do that no matter what you say.
PacketOverload_x64bit
But I tried icenhancer on patch 4 and the graphics looked worse than on patch 7. Sorry friend, then you're doing it wrong. Red skies are a glitch of 1070. You need a ENB or ICENHANCER suite built around 1070. Chinagreen Elvis does one for 1070 I think. http://www.gta4-mods.com/misc/chinagreenel...and-eflc-f17143
brandon236
Ok so I tried to use a different sky texture for the shaders but I don't like the sun, it's not bright enough. Everytime I use editIV and increase the value for sun brightness it doesn't do anything. It used to be at 1 so I put it to 60 and it still had no effect. So how to I change the sun?
