Trailer 1. Woke up and instantly turned on my pc to watch it before work. Definetly made my day. Crazy to think how fast 2 years have gone.

I cannot decide what was the best thing thus far. All I know is that time passed pretty fast. When GTAV finally releases, almost two years passed since the announcement and the first trailer. That's a long time and a lot happened during that period. The first trailer got me very excited and back then, I was excited because the game looked a lot better than its predecessors and I liked the theme; and the whole "pursuit of the almighty dollar" thing sounded interesting. I knew from the beginning that it has potential. The wait for new info lasted over eight months, and even then, the only thing we got was two screenshots and the confirmation that planes will return in what is Rockstars biggest title yet. And then, a month later, there was the 10 screenshots week. Good times. The second trailer and the Game Informer cover-story were cool too and both got me more excited again. As for the character trailers, I enjoyed all of them, especially the one of Michael who is my favourite protagonist since the start, even before we were aware of the multiple protagonists system. The latests previews confirmed things that are in the game, that were confirmed not to be in the game in November last year. That is some really cool stuff and I didn't expect that at all.

 

In short, I enjoyed every bit of info we have got ever since the announcement of the game equally, be it the trailers, the screenshots and the tidbits of info from the previews.

 

You reminded me of 10 screenshot week. That was such a good week. I'm not saying that I dislike the idea of 3 protags, but it was easier to get hyped back then when we knew so little about the game. I feel that I know too much now to be constantly excited, but every now and then, I'll be playing RDR or IV and I'll realise that in a few months I'll be playing a game that is sure to blow both out of the water, and that makes me happy smile.gif

 

Edit: in terms of the poll, I voted Trailer 1. I remember sitting in front of my computer, watching the countdown go to zero, watching it in complete silence, and then turning to my girlfriend and repeatedly saying 'It's in Los Santos!'. She said it was the most excited she'd ever seen me, and we'd been together over 3 years by then!

For me the most memorable and exciting time was November 2012. We had so much new information like 3 protags for example and who could forget the hype we had for the game informer article and the 5 photo viewers, the hype we had for them alone was incredible!
