For me, absolutely every iota of information, be it stunning visuals or spellbinding trailers, has captures my eyes. I truly cannot even begin to commend Rockstar North, for creating such as masterpiece, which I posit will supersede the criteria for Game of the Year. I am so, so excited to unleash this game upon my 32-inch, LCD screen, accompanied by quality 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound amplification.

 

To that end, it is the protagonist trailers, that absolutely struck my heartstrings with a tremendous force, chiefly Franklin's for two reasons. Reason number one, is given that it was busting at the seams with the spraying of lead, and crisp illuminations of Los Santos cladded in darkness, if you would. For reason number two, there is connotation with my avater .gif; that, which I have so longed for in a Grand Theft Auto installment, bypassed in Grand Theft Auto: IV. The presence of authentic anterior, posterior LED flickers / light bars, showcased on the new, enhanced police interceptors on which the LEDs rest. Such beautiful renderings with the emergency apparatuses. They almost emulate the ELS modification. If Rockstar should elect to release another trailer or two, just imagine how beautiful and fluid those builds of the game will be.

I LOVED trailer 1. So much atmosphere and anticipation. Of course we hadn't heard much of the game yet so I was still breathless in anticipation of hearing about Las Venturas (SF as well, though to a lesser degree for gameplay sake). Don't get me wrong, im crazy excited, but if another major city had been in it I just wouldn't be able to contain myself hahaha.

 

It's REALLY bugging me that im already nostalgic about the trailer to a game I haven't even touched yet -_____-

Gotta go with trailer 1 also. That announcement the week before with just the big green V, the whole week of speculation, getting up early when the day arrived to watch it at 9am sharp. I was floored. The game looked practically finished, I thought. I expected just 30 seconds of a few shots of the city, just to let us know where it was, but damn. Cropdusters spraying migrant workers, guys on jet skis, hikers on Chiliad, that wind farm, that lone dog on the beach, the convertible putting the top down, fighter jets... it just had SO MUCH for a first look at the game. I will always remember where I was when I first saw that trailer, that's how much of an impression it made on me. That was an exciting day.

I am too lazy to work it out as well. So I just went here plugged in the dates. Anyway as of June 8, 2013 here are how many days it has been since certain milestones in the GTA V development. If you want to find out how many days will be between said event and launch just add 100. Also I am not inclduing every single thing. For instance the second round of previews came out two days after the character trailers and I see no need to include both.

 

The original announcement: 592 Days

Trailer 1: 584 days

The first two screenshots: 331 days

Epsilon Twitter discovered: 312 days.

The infamous "few weeks or so announcement":288 Days

Announcement of GI cover:240 days

Leaked posters showing the Spring 2013 release date: 224 Days

Pre-ordering began: 215 days

GI-Cover released: 212 days

Trailer 2: 206 days

Announcement of the delay/Release date revealed: 128 days

Discovery that box-art was being painted on the side of a NYC building: 70 days

Character trailers: 39 days

 

As far as the thing that got me most hyped for GTA V I would say it was when I re-watched the first trailer. I remember seeing it after it was released and then for the next few months I really did not pay attention. Then one night I decided to see if there was a release date and the trailer totally hit me in a different direction than the first one. I watched several videos where they analyzed the trailer. The biggest memory I have though was following the monthly Game Informer cover speculation topics. I do not think I ever participated in them, but they sure were fun to watch from the sidelines.

For most of 2012 I wasn't really thinking about V as there wasn't much info etc...

 

But after trailer 2 I got a lot more hyped for the game and started spending more time on the forums just waiting for new info.
