Apex. Posted June 15, 2013 Share Posted June 15, 2013 Saints Row 2 and 3 were superior to the recent GTAs. I had so much more fun with that series than the DLCs and IV. Hahahaha you basically just wore a 'Star Wars is superior' shirt at a Star Trek convention there friend, so brave. I didn't buy Saints Row 3 because of the sillyness but I got Saints Row 2, got over 90% 3 times and really enjoyed it, and while I kinda enjoyed it more the IV (i'm sad to say), GTA will always be my 'go to series' I don't know if it's because I spend so much time on these boards or what. But I will always prefer the GTA series over Saints Row for that reason. I also prefer the community to Saints Row's, you go to the SR forum and it's pretty much dead, and I think that's the thing about GTA, is it's been going on for so long it's developed such a large fan base, and it's such a big name, people will sway more that way. It's just got a certain 'magic' to it like some people before me have said. Oh and btw it's best not to criticize someone for their join date. What he said about a lot of Saints Row fans hating 3 and the upcoming 4 is fairly true, on the SR forums there's a big divide between people liking the grittyness and people like the over the top style. But here are some i did really enjoy !
