macca82 Posted June 8, 2013 Share Posted June 8, 2013 So I know there have been countless discussions on Route 5 (the door) etc. and how there are hints of San Diego being in the game but I wanted to hear what your general opinions are. Do you think it will make an appearance? I was looking at a google images map of LA and didn't even realize the Salton Sea is actually near San Diego. However the re-imagined south California map we are speculating on shows the Alamo Sea to be north of Los Santos. If Rockstar are including the Salton (Alamo) then I think we should expect to see San Diego in some form or another as it is so close by in real geography terms. What are your thoughts? GourangaMaster Posted June 8, 2013 Share Posted June 8, 2013 If the blueprint is anything to go by no. Landmass clearly ends at the docks in the southern region of LS. Even though R* did a pretty rediculous geographical shuffle placing the Alama sea no where near the real salton sea location i dont see San diego being in the game. Choco Taco Posted June 8, 2013 Share Posted June 8, 2013 I think San Diego would be a terrible choice for a second city in a game that has Los Angeles as its main city. It has very little to offer if you already have LA. If San Diego was included, 99% of the people who play the game would have to be told it's San Diego because they would have no idea which city it was.
