79'Blazer4x4
That's a pretty freaky pic. Can they crawl through the windows of the busses? If not and you could close the doors on them it would be an awesome place to take shelter in at night as you'd have a great view of the street and volatiles around you while remaining safe. Is this The Guy?
Yeah that would be cool and no I don't think they could climb through the windows, but I also am pretty sure that you can't close the bus doors. It was funny though because this one in the pic got stuck in there lol. It was chasing me around and I guess it ran into the bus and got stuck. When the sun came up he was still in there so I took a pic
Eurotrash
A zombie game made by the same developers as Dead Island, only it doesn't suck Wait, weren't they making Dead Island 2? Isn't this technically Dead Island 2?
Is this The Guy?
They put development of Dead Island 2 on hold to work on this game. I think there will still be a Dead Island 2 released later this year. Some of these characters are too much. Tycek
A zombie game made by the same developers as Dead Island, only it doesn't suck Wait, weren't they making Dead Island 2? Isn't this technically Dead Island 2? Dead Island 2 is made by another company, since Techland decided to cut the ties with Deep Silver due to artistic disagreement. Dead Island IP stayed with the publisher, as usual and they decided to hire Yager to make the next game.
OysterBarron
From what I read tycek yager just pitched a better game to the publishers hence tech lands game was just renamed from dead island 2 to dying light when they didn't get the contract. So I like to think this is techlands vision of what dead island 2 was going to be about. I'm really interested to see what dead island 2 is actually going to be like now there's a fresh developer behind it.

esmittystud101
I might have to try the hard mode on the second go around, but less collectables would make it really hard. Rebel
Been playing this on and off for the past week. I have to say I hadn't even looked at it before buying it and just though ''why not'' and I'm glad I did. I love the running around jumping over buildings and zombies when you get the perk its funny. I also love the voice actor but he just reminds me of Saints Row which you can't help. The side quests are good, they are pretty much the same but they've added in some different stuff and with the climbing it feels good. For instance, you have to go to the top of the bridge and well, falling from that distance makes my f*cking stomach turn which I've never really had before. Would seriously love an rift just for this game. The night time is f*cking scary too. I got my ass handed to me thinking I could just be casual and not worry too much about the volatiles but they are actually, everywhere. Yeah. Love living through the night and getting a sh*t ton of XP for it though, adds some real enjoyment out of trying to play through night times instead of just skipping it. esmittystud101

And once Crane's skills are maxed out the game gets pretty easy so an optional harder mode would be cool. Only avoid searching bodies if you're overwhelmed and can't get near them without severe risk of death. At the very least they all have $15 or so on them, sometimes you get supplies and even the medkits, firecrackers, etc. themselves from them. Been playing this on and off for the past week. Is this The Guy?
Yeah once you get into the habit of searching all the dead bodies you can get a lot of crafting supplies. Unlocking the camouflage perk helps a lot too if there are a lot of bodies. lol here's another short video I recorded. 79'Blazer4x4
It takes forever to get to survivor level 25. Most likely because my main source of XP was turning in supply drops, which would spawn at least 5 a day and they'd be marked on the map. Now it spawns a maximum of one a day and there's no map marker for it, dunno if it's a glitch or if it's meant to be that way but it's annoying nonetheless. Also, has anyone else had a glitch where all zombies completely dissapear? Virals still show up when you make noise but there are no regular zombies to be found(except for "scripted" occurences like when a survivor is being attacked). It's yet to happen to me in Old Town but has happened at least 5 times in the slums. Makes looting police vans and stuff easy. I glitched my way to survivor level 25, you can clone care packages and deliver them to the dude, you'll get to level 25 instantly (I did this after the endgame tho, just for the fun, same as the Korek Machete, EXPcalibur and SuperKatana) I'm level 20 in the other two categories, I enjoy playing at night now that I've got the superkatana hahaha )

I never had that disappearing glitch but.. if you did the side mission with Erol the supply drops on the school roof respawn after a few days. (unless the update fixed that) I'm about to go the the bunker in old town to see if all those supply drops respawn as well. Edit: Anyone else here ALWAYS get caught by the bombers? I have such an itchy trigger finger for zombies now that I hit everything that sneaks up on me. 79'Blazer4x4
I'd really like to explore the stadium and the other part of the city with the skyscrapers(at least one section of the skyscraper city is involved with the outbreak since you can see skyscrapers on fire from any tall vantage point). I read something about there being a DLC in the stadium but(if it's even true) it's just some dumb survivor mode like CoD nazi zombies where there's wave after wave of zombies. I want to free roam, kill all the zombies inside and explore the stadium, not fight off waves in it. Maybe even have it as a huge safehouse with a ton of survivors lingering about who decided to barricade themselves in after the outbreak. esmittystud101
Question: When I die sometimes it says "Survivor points lost _ _ _ _". Where do you even see how many survivor points you have to begin with? Does it really matter basically in other words? I know it would be better if I just didn't die sometimes, but it happens. But I mean with the whole survivor points in general?

But I mean with the whole survivor points in general? In the game menu under the skills section you can check how many survivor points you have and how many points until you gain the next level in the survivor skill tree. When you go up a level in the survivor skill tree you'll get access to better more powerfull weapons in shops. The longer you stay alive the quicker you'll level up the survivor skill tree. But turning in air drops saving survivors from zombies or rais men earns you more survivor points. The best way of all though to gain survivor levels quicker is to survive nightime undected. You unlock valuable perks too as you level up each skill tree which makes the game easier and more fun. Find a good hiding spot at night and wait if you wanna level up that skill tree quicker. So basically when I lose Survivor points when I get killed. Do I just lose points down to zero. You can't go back in survival level can you? Only reason I ask, sometimes I die like three or four times in a row. Losing thousands of survivor points in just a matter of minutes. esmittystud101
Okay, the more I looked into it (Googled it) basically for some missions, it is getting you between 5,000 and 20,000 survival points for completing the mission. So if you die and you lose say 1800 survival points, I guess its not going to matter all that much compared to what you are gaining from completing missions, saving random people on the map, ext. I was kinda upset at first, but now that I know how it works and how much your gaining when you complete missions and tasks and how much your losing when you die. It doesn't bother me. Kinda like the idea and jist of it. Edited February 16, 2015 by esmittystud101

esmittystud101
Do the challenges ever end? Running , Shields, Combat ones. I think the shield ones go away after completion. But the running and combat ones just keep popping up after I beat them. I'm not complaining by any means. Unlimited ammo for the combat challenges is awesome.
