MosquitoSmasher
One of the things i'm still very curious about are the interiors. When Rockstar announced the game and talked about the size of the gameworld, they said it included the interiors as well. I honestly would NOT mind it much if the city is a bit smaller compared to LC, and so that it has a sh*tload of more enterable interiors. So far with all the previews that we've gotten, and there are QUITE a lot now, so little has been said about interiors. I'm not gonna say that it worries me, but boy do i hope that we get a lot more interiors compared to IV. It would make the gameworld much more believeable and this was one of my gripes about IV. It was all set in the city, yet too little buildings could be entered. I remember seeing plenty of buildings and i could look into it, and i was like....f*cking hell game, let me enter this building. I remember Vice City and it's awesome shopping mall. A few stores were enterable and now with the return of robberies (liquor stores, ATMs) i sure do expect a much bigger amount of enterable interiors. Give me: - Shopping malls with the majority of the shops enterable, so i can go ROB them all, hehe. - Next to liquor stores, give me normal supermarkets, or a video-rental store, it may not have to mean that these stores have anything to do with the story or that you can actually buy/rent a video there, but it makes the gameworld all the more realistic and believeable. Let us all be able to rob these stores too. it's for fun side activities and replay value. LA Noire had a museum, and it was fully enterable and quite big too. Now i haven't finished Noire yet, so i don't know if a mission takes place there. But i like these kind of details. It doesn't all nessecarily have to serve a purpose for the story or whatsoever, just the fact that it's in there and can be explored. I like that. VC also had the enterable Airport, it was too limited in GTA IV. Bring this back. Let us explore policestations, like we can explore the hospitals. It's all good, just don't only have enterable clothing and weapon stores and hospitals. The MORE, the merrier. Any other great ideas for interiors? And does anyone know anything more about interiors in V so far? It's possible that i missed some details in previews, some i haven't read.
Famous-CLS
Hopefully V will have an mall similar to the one in Vice City It would be great if they also had restaurants, you could eat at Museums is a great idea too, hopefully some featuring lots of medieval weapons. IV had a museum and I loved it. I used it to have shootouts there. I agree, I've never played a game where you could enter every building.

MosquitoSmasher
Imagine a GTA in the future where the majority of buildings can simply be entered, that would be so damn awesome. Restaurants in V would be great actually, i agree. LA Noire had those too and you could actually just sit down, you couldn't do anything else, but like i said, the idea that it's possible is just really cool. More interactivity = the better. But it's truly something i expect, at least a lot more enterable shops to just explore and walk around in. Otherwise the city is just gonna feel very limited quite soon. I think the previews haven't spoken about it, because Rockstar simply showed them what they wanted to show them. The countryside and a mission. It's not like these previewers were allowed to play it for themselves and just do whatever the hell they wanted. If there's one more preview by sites, hopefully based on a play session, i hope to read about much more interiors. There's a lot that can be done with those. We only scratched the surface with our examples here.

I want to be able to enter any house I want to get away from the cops.

Ahh nostalgia. Brings me back to the first time i rode my bike down an escalator and charged straight into a group of gang members. After that i sliced everyone's heads off with the katana in the cafe. Nostalgiaaaaaaaaahh. OT: i got really excited when they said that GTA V will have the most interiors so i agree with everything op said. If anyone can do it, its Rockstar. Besides there were games that had all interiors open before. i believe True Crime NY was one of them and that was last gen so why not this gen

No, unless they did it Elder Scrolls style (loading screen whenever you enter/exit). Actually, come to think of it, that's how SA worked too. Deffpony
I have been really vocal about this. I would be happy if LS was the size of Algonquin, but with ALOT of interiors. Thats what killed LC for me. The city felt dead because you couldnt even access the fire escapes for god sake. Im really hoping that the city has alot more interactivity in V, especially since its looking slightly smaller than LC.
Game2048
As I remember, Rockstar said that there will be much more "enterable" locations in GTA V, than in previous games. As I remember, they highlighted this among other things, when they talked about the size of map and described GTA V world in general. So everything pointed to the fact that enterable locations will be a big part of a total area of the map

Then again, a sh*tload of information has been given through the months, so something was bound to get lost for me in there. I'm gonna be exploring for these interiors right away. Game2048
Check GameInformer December preview also. Their mentioning of interiors deserves attention also. They talk about Los Santos, how diverse, detailed this city will be, that it's not just random buildings. That they refused to create 2-3 cities in order to create one city, but with quality as high as possible. Then they said that "if you include interior and exterior spaces together, LOS SANTOS is bigger than the worlds of RDR, SA and GTA IV combined, with room to spare". However they clearly meant the whole size of map. But mentioning of interiors here is notable Edited June 7, 2013 by Game2048

Otherwise we would have had quite a few threads about interiors already. I think there will be maybe 10-15% more interiors in LS than LC

At the very least we shold get plenty of stores in general. I see a museum and policestations and such as a great extra. But the more, the better. That's for damn sure.
