creed200569 Posted June 7, 2013 Share Posted June 7, 2013 If or when GTA 5 comes to PC which most of us believe it will,Is it possible to add the mods of the other cities that people have been doing to GTA 4 on PC to GTA 5 so people can travel from city to city or is that just too much. Im guessing its gonna take a little more power to run GTA 5 more smoothly than GTA 4 due to not only its size but the insane amount of detail gone into it. What kind of PC would u recommend? As much effort and time that some of these modders put into GTA 4 like recreating San Andreas and Vice City, I can see them doing something like this also. Unless R* make a game with multiple cities I wouldn't expect to see this any day. If this happen, it will be in 2015-2016. Modding has already become very inactive or 'dead' compared to what it was in the past. So I don't think it will happen at all like I've said so already. S1LV3R_W0LF Posted June 7, 2013 Share Posted June 7, 2013 To be honest I bet it will be done, all they have to do is add 1 city model with the other connected by something, of course is not that simple but the old game engine maps were transformed to GTA IV engine, the full Vice City, the full San Andreas and even custom maps like a huge Island and an insanely detailed desert. Dope_0110 Posted June 7, 2013 Share Posted June 7, 2013 I don't know what some of you are talking about. Modding is as active as ever and there will certainly be these mods. I'm guessing one of the first of this kind will be replacing V map with SA map. Also, mods (except for graphical mods) don't require anything more than usual game requirements. Plus, PC's are 3-4 times more powerful then they were 5 years ago when IV was released, and consoles are still the same. It's crazy to think they will have any trouble running the game or mods.
