FQuimson23 Posted June 7, 2013 Share Posted June 7, 2013 I recently tried to install a plane mod with Air Combat IV. It crashes the game so i decide to remove BOTH mods. Well I replaced the files the mod replaced (Hooray For Backups ) but it crashed the same way. GTA version: 1.0.7.0 (Retail, Not Steam) OS: Windows 8 Pro (Yes I know it sucks but it gave me 20 FPS increase for some reason) I have tried everything from uninstall and re install to deleting savegame. Nothing worked. I do in fact have mods BUT the mods don't replace anything (As in I added them and spawn them with a trainer). The mods worked before the installation of Air Combat IV but now it just crashes to desktop without any error codes. Tech Specs (I thought this might be useful) : Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 2.8GHz Amd HD Radeon 6670 with 1 GB of Dedicated Ram 6 GB of Ram Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

FQuimson23 Posted June 7, 2013 Author Share Posted June 7, 2013 Yes I have removed the folder after uninstalling, I have AFTER installing Patch 1.0.7.0, and no, im not using any cracks, I bought the game. It launches perfectly normal without any mods other than the scripthook, asi loader, and Simple Native Trainer. The other mods which are cars, don't work after being added. Miro Posted June 7, 2013 Share Posted June 7, 2013 I suggest you then remove all the mods / scripts / trainers you have. Or, if you want to keep the Scripthook, Asi Loader & Simple Native Trainer, keep them, but don't add the car mods, since they're surely the reason why the game crashes. That's all the help we can offer you here, mods are known to be buggy, so don't expect a normal fix to work here. FQuimson23 Posted June 7, 2013 Author Share Posted June 7, 2013 Well it wasn't like this before, it was air combat iv that started to make my game crash with the car mods. the car mods i have didn't used to crash like this until i installed air combat iv then uninstalled air combat iv. Miro Posted June 7, 2013 Share Posted June 7, 2013 In that case, un-install all the mods / scripts / trainers you have, un-install the game, delete your game settings and make sure there aren't any leftovers, and simply re-start everything. Install the game, the Scripthook, Simple Native Trainer & Asi Loader, and then install the car mods without installing that Air Combat IV mod. Anyway, this is getting a little too deep into modding; and if you wish to carry out the discussion, we'll have to point you at the IV Other forum, since here in the Troubleshooting forum we don't have the knowledge to fix modded games.
