I stumbled on your Youtube show a while back.

It was mildly entertaining with the intriguing GTA V information coming out every week.

However, since the press demo was released, it was obvious that your show was in decline.

 

I think it's stupid as f*ck that this forum has more information (quantity/quality) than CVG does when they saw the actual game.

If I was working for a gaming journal company and actually saw the game in action, I would be presenting detailed information to the people with graphical analysis (better non-speculated factual maps/actual recreation of the HUD/graphical presentation of abilities/ect).

But you guys at CVG are too lazy for that now, since you got your viewership and subscribers.

 

The last few episodes CVG put out has been a copy paste of the content created by the posters in this forum.

CVG does not even ask for permission to use the user created content that has been posted.

And they profit off the video with useless information.

Every view earns them money, and the posters on this forums are basically the co-authors to the video.

My biggest issue with CVG is their refusal to truly give credit where credit is due. They have plagiarized members of this forum many times and under-acknowledge how reliant they are on the honest work that a lot of individuals here put in. Unless the CVG staff ARE THESE MEMBERS themselves, they really should be prefacing everything they say with the name of the user they heard that info from. The countless hours that people put in to mapping LS? Stolen by CVG with just barellllyyyyy a mention of the people they stole it from. Then they claim it is their own work.

 

These forum members who put in days of work on the map have been gracious enough not to act mad about it. Hats off to them. Thumbs down for CVG.

Not every person knows this forum. I've found it about one year ago and to be honest - there is no better GTA forum around! If you don't know GTAforums your only source is news like from cvg and stuff… so it's good for these poor guys to have a source to get info from.

yes. Same goes for the screen some user here posted yesterday (robbery shot)

It's now all over the web and even in german magazines (and they gave credit too) so it means more users find their way to us… well - not sure if *that* is a good thing

Hey, I look foward to them every week. Why, cause they talk abou GTAV. If there's new info they'll share it if there's not they'll still have a show and try going over some things they may have missed or didn't go into enough detail. If you look at other places they don't talk about GTAV until something really new comes up.

I hear alot of people bad mouthing them lately, WHY, oh because the well has dried up and people are expecting them to pull new info out of their ass when there is none. Atleast I can depend on them doing thier show once a week and have a little something to look foward too. I like these forums and all but the topics here havn't exactly been stimulating. This topic included. CVG is doing a great job I hope they keep it up so I have a little to look foward to once a week.

Seriously, (Flying planes into buildings, Trevor in a suit, Petition for renting vehicles) just a couple examples of threads that are there cause we're bored, there's no new info and everyone is pumped so we're just making threads to make threads.

You have every right to your opinion on CVG, but you do also have a choice whether you click that play button or not.

 

We aren't even affiliated with CVG; this isn't a complaints forum or is it a platform for 'protests'. I'd suggest putting it somewhere more appropriate, like directly to them.
