I've been to L.A once or twice (albiet quite some time ago) and what I do want to do after I play GTAV is go to L.A and see if they've captured the feel of the city just right, even if the trailers already gave us an idea of what to expect. But there is quite a lot more to L.A/California than what's shown in V, and if you do choose to go to California, I hope you have a splendid time. 2405 Posted June 7, 2013 Share Posted June 7, 2013 I'm on a pseudo vacation here in San Diego for the last month. Resort right on the beach. It's pretty much heaven. Gonna be sad to go to Vegas in two weeks and then off to Miami (it's like my own little GTA summer trip), and finishing up just south of NYC just before GTA V launches. Though, it does have a lot of things to do, and nice architecture to look at. I just hate going there. California beaches is where it's at. Scampi Posted June 7, 2013 Share Posted June 7, 2013 I lived in CA almost my whole life. I got out last year and I'm glad I did. I wouldn't tell anybody not to visit, since you should see it with your own eyes to judge it, but I can't see myself ever going back. The weather was awful, the allergies were awful, and the landscape was awful. It's so barren and dry for most of the state. It had some good spots, but overall it was not my thing. Everything you see in TV or in films is nothing than a virtual world - only an illusion. It's so damn dirty and criminal there. I'd rather prefer San Diego or San Francisco. I'm going to Brazil for the World Cup 2014. It's just USA left that I want to see, and perhaps a little bit more of South America. I got some friends here in Thailand who are from California. They're cool guys. I would love to go to LA and New York. I think though if I travel to LA, the only thing I would recognize from V would be the Hollywood sign a couple of buildings but that's it, or am I wrong? Ther others aren't even real competitors in this group, thus I see great chances for Norway being qualified. I have just seen they are going to play today. So good luck! I'm hoping they will qualify but even though we're drawn in the easiest group it doesn't look to good to be honest. Very frustrating. It's always something, like little confidence/clumsiness and they freak out or keeper makes a mistake in the last minutes or like now all of our strikers are goal-shy. There's been something hanging over Norwegian football the last 10-15 years. That being said, NFF (Norway's FA) is under pressure and those corrupt f*cks will have to go if we don't qualify. We're mad and we will start protest. Let's see how it goes against Albania (away) today. We shockingly lost the home match against them last year. We lose against the easy teams but play good against the best nations. Dunno what's up with that. A funfact is that we're the only nation that have played against Brazil and never lost. W=2/D=2/L=0. Anyway. I've never been to a World Cup and I grew up watching Brazil's samba-football on TV. I need to go there. My father lives in Maragogi, in north, so I go there visit him too. Went from San Fran to LA, then Las Vegas (got married) Hired Dodge Viper GTS for day after. Amazing - would recommend to anyone. On a GTA V note - Will the RV Park be in GTA V on the beach - Dockweiler RV Park.
