Grove Street Heat Posted June 7, 2013 Share Posted June 7, 2013 do you guys think npc's will randomly jack you at a red light if you u have a really nice car or you are jus slipping sort of like in rdr when a npc would steal you're horse . what do you think ? Could've been the original owner getting it back. I was a fair distance away from where I stole it and a lot of NPC's disappear in that circumstance, so maybe it really was a thief. Just be cruising along, listening to some AC/DC when all the sudden some old mother f*cker jumps out and waves for help. You stop, and he runs to your car and rips the door open and throws you out and takes off. Kinda makes me wonder if we sit there for a minute before we take off if we will put our seatbelt on, like the helmets in IV. That way it would for one prevent us from flying out the windshield, and two if someone opens our door and tries to rob us we can be like "LOL f*ck YOU BUDDY" and take off. Yeah with the random events both big and small, I can see some of the hitchikers they mentioned being like some of them in RDR and we'll see them trying to jack you. Also I like the seatbelt idea. This should only happen: 1 - in only rundown/high crime parts of town. Getting jacked in rodeo drive would suck 2 - It should be rare 3 - You should be able to easily fend off the thief; locking your door or something. A shootout or fight shouldnt be forced upon you. Perhaps a "warning" would be good like in RDR - After a few times i never got my horse stolen, unless I let it. The man would call out and i'd see it, and i would simply carry on riding - didnt even need to go THAT fast. A similar thing could happen in V, but i want the ability to lock my doors - IV had it (in one mission).... I do want to pack some C4 in my car, and get it jacked (i'll drive a sh*tty beater) then BOOM haha but the player should have some control over it. So you'd have to go to the police station to report the thief "hey, I'm the guy who is elaborating and selling meth to the kids, assaulted the bank of america the last night and stole a car half an hour ago, running over two cops and an old lady and I want to report that my car has been stolen and if you can recover it" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I mean, i would like to see random criminals around, starting mayhems and stuff on their own, and giving you the possibility to approach them and hire them to join your heists. By this i dont mean just NPCs randomly shooting people and stealing cars (even yours), i mean NPCs totally gone crazy f*cking sh*t up with a stolen tank, shooting the hell out of people with an RPG, and sh*t like that Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
